I was literally sweating cold while walking towards his car. I don't know what exactly I should do and say the moment we arrive at his car. I glanced at him and saw him furrowing his brows. Parang malalim yung iniisip niya.

Even with his mind occupied, he didn't forgot to open the car's door for me. I smiled a little then entered. Siya naman ay tahimik na umikot din papasok sa driver's seat.

When we're both inside, tahimik kami parehas. Silence just took over us and I felt more nervous. I just really don't know how to start it. I feel like it would be so awkward to just blurt out, 'sinasagot na kita' to Lucas.

“Is everything okay, baby?” mukhang hindi na nakatiis pa si Lucas dahil nagtanong na siya.

I turned to him and smiled a little before nodding my head. His eyes looked so worried for me.

“Lucas...” tawag ko sa kanya bago ako napalunok dahil sa kaba. I swear I can feel the beating of my heart getting more intense and more intense.

“What is it?” he asked and I even saw how his eyes fiddled over at the steering wheel. He looked anxious.

“Tumigil kana sa panliligaw sakin.” my mouth blurted out even before I can stop myself. Does that sound a bit harsh? What if he misunderstands it?

I saw how he looked dumbfounded for a moment until he gulped. His brows furrowed but this time I saw evident worry over at his eyes.

“W-What? Why? Did I do something wrong?” he quickly asked. I looked at him confused for a while then I just realized he didn’t get what I want to tell him.

I suddenly laughed because I found myself stupid. Why did I say it that way, now Lucas got the wrong idea?

“Hey, did I do something wrong? Why do you want me to stop courting?” he asked getting impatient.

Tumunghay ako at nilingon siya. He looked desperate and I don’t know why he’s acting like this. Can’t he feel I feel the same way? He should’ve understand it right away. Is he doubtful about something?

“Uhh...” I started.

Lucas sighed heavily and lowered his head. “You don’t have to answer baby. I’m not really forcing you. I’ll just try and court you again.”

Nanlaki ang mata ko dahil sa narinig mula sa kanya. Ano raw? Did I heard it right? Liligawan niya raw ako ulit? So ano? Kapag tinanggihan ko siya ngayon at kung babustedin ko nga siya manliligaw ulit siya?

“What? You’re gonna court me again?” tanong ko gulat pa rin. Tumunghay ulit siya at ngumiti. Even though it didn’t reach his eyes, he tried to smile.

He stretched his hand and softly hng some of my hair over my ear. “Yeah. I can’t see myself loving somebody else so I’ll just pursue the only girl I can see myself with.”

My heart warmed up at what he just said so I pouted, getting teary. Lucas might have notice it because I saw the instant panic in his eyes.

“Hey, why are you crying? You don’t have to feel sorry. Ganon talaga yon baby. Nanliligaw ako hanggang maramdaman mo na worth it na akong maging boyfriend mo.” he softly caress my hair and pull my head closer to his.
