"What are you doing here?" I asked, surprised to see him.
He let out a nervous laugh before the door for the ladies room swung open, allowing Tina to come into view.
I felt a little awkward when her and I shared quick eye contact with each other before my attention was focused on Tait again.
"Everything okay?" Tina asked almost quietly as she spoke to Tait.
He nodded his head in response letting out a soft smile to her before his attention was back on me.
Tina excused herself and left without another word while I started to put two and two together
"You look amazing blue"
"No, don't do that, what's going on?" I asked, not giving him the chance to change the topic.
Despite how weird I was feeling at this point, I was curious enough to continue our conversation.
"Tina is-"
"Your girlfriend", I blurted.
"What? No" he responded almost shocked and confused at my words.
"Then what?" I said, with my eyebrow up.
"She-"
"There she is", I heard from behind Tait, which took both our attention.
It was my sister and Aubrey.
"I told you she was okay" Kim said as she nudged Aubrey's shoulder gently.
"Everything okay?" I asked, hoping that they would take the hint that I was having an important conversation and that they would give me a few minutes to get the information that was about to be given to me.
"Well I mean now it is. The guys went up to the office and we tried to reach you but you were not picking up" Kim responded making me take my phone out my purse in return.
I had a good 5 missed calls. 3 from JJ and 2 from Kim...
"Gee, I'm sorry if I worried you" I said feeling a little embarrassed.
"Don't worry about it, we found you and that's what matters" Aubrey said in response with a gentle smile.
"Damn, the hate is real around here" Tait said grabbing all of our attention.
"What do you know about real Tait".....oh boy
"The Fvck do you have against me Kim?!" Tait started.
"Against you!? Everything you lying piece of shvt!" Kim responded with a big attitude.
I backed myself closer to Aubrey as we both watched the both of them unpack each other's luggage.
"Stop acting like you ain't played your part in it as well. Trent? Of all the niggas you could have fvcked, it had to be him" Tait said, making Kim fall quiet for a few seconds.
"You went for my Bestfriend, so I had to get you back for it. You hurt me..." she finally said.
"I loved you and you messed that up...."
