AMBER

" okay so please explain to me why Ashley just uped and took the poor kid without a word" Madison asked as we were all seated around the dinner table ready to eat what was made for dinner.

Marcus shot a curious look at JJ as he sat quiet next to me...

"Okay, silent treatment.." Madison said before she opened the nice looking cover that was over the food.

It was lasagna and the smell was very appetizing. My tummy began to rumble a little before I felt a hand on my thigh and finally JJ spoke.

"I called her out on her shvt and she took note" he said as he was reaching to dish up for himself.

Madison slapped his hand away before she looked at Marcus who was very amused at this.

"So she just listened?" He asked with his one eyebrow up making JJ respond with a nod.

There was silence for a few seconds before Marcus laughed to himself.

"What did you say to her?" He asked.

"Does it really matter babe?" Madison asked wanting to shut the topic down.

"Not even a bit but fo her to just up and listen to JJ, that's new.." Marcus stated while Madison rolled her eyes and grabbed for a glass and some juice.

"Look, what matters is that she is gone" Madison said making JJ laugh.

"Ain't you the same person thinking that her sperm donors kid was mine?" He asked making Madison roll her eyes at him.

"You guys had something special so you can't blame me" she defended.

"Two years ago" JJ stated.

Marcus silently put up his glass and nodded his head to JJ in agreement which made Madison roll her eyes again before she put her hands out and closed her eyes.

We all did the same and she said grace before everyone dished up for themselves and started eating.

Might I say, every bite I took from that lasagna, my taste buds did a dance. It was almost as good as Aunti B's food.

"I'm glad you guys are back together?" Madison started making Marcus choke on the juice he was drinking.

"Mama's you need to chill the fvck down" he said while he was getting himself together.

"Why you all up in a niggas business?" JJ asked getting a little irritated.

"It's about time you settle JJ, I'm a bit tired of seeing different girls in this house. And You can't lie and say that you haven't been blue since you and Amber stopped talking" Madison said finishing her drink.

JJ let out a small laugh before he got up from his chair and took his dish and put them in the kitchen sink.

"Fvck going on with you today?" Marcus asked Madison.

As if the atmosphere wasn't uncomfortable enough, Madison got up and threw an earring at Marcus.

"That shvt ain't mine and it sure ain't your mothers earring either, so come clean before I leave Yo ass" she said standing up and charging herself upstairs.

My attention went to JJ who was making his way back to his seat before he took his attention to Marcus.

"You just gonna let her walk away?" He asked him and Marcus stood up shaking his head before he took himself upstairs.

Once I was pretty sure Marcus was out of sight, JJ took my hand in his and gave me a cheesy smile which put a smile on my face.

"Madison didn't mean what she said" he said covering for himself.
