AMBER

I woke up to the sound of water running. Slowly I sat myself up as I examined my surroundings and figured that I was in JJ's bedroom.

It was neat and clean as usual and smelt fresh like JJ always did.

I continued to sit in silence, getting myself together mentally before the door for the bathroom opened.

JJ walked out shirtless and in shorts only, which obviously took my attention as I started to admire him.

I didn't even notice that he caught me staring, because the next thing I knew, a towel was being thrown at me.

"No you didn't" I playfully said as I removed the towel from my face and threw it back at him.

A big smile played on his face as he easily dodged the towel and made his way to the bed.

I watched as he sat himself down, facing his back towards me and grabbing his phone off the fancy looking side bed table.

He was unusually quiet as he did whatever business he was doing on his phone.

"Are you okay?" I found myself asking after a few seconds of silence.

As a response, he put his phone aside and layed himself back, making sure that his head was on my thigh.

I looked down at him and examined him quietly as he just stayed silent and looked at me.

It was as if he wanted to say something but at the same time he couldn't....

In the silence I let out a small smile to kill whatever tension I was feeling on the inside before a call from his phone came through.

Unbothered, JJ continued to lay on my thigh as he just left it to ring.

"Why aren't you answering?" I asked as I fought the urge to look at who was calling him.

"It's not important" he simply said, closing his eyes as the phone stopped ringing.

We continued to stay quiet for a good few seconds before the phone rang again.

This time my human nature took control before I did and I looked at who was calling...

I tensed up as my mind flooded up with possibilities as again, JJ wasn't bothered at the fact that his phone was ringing.

This was slowly starting to irritate me as I just stayed quiet and tried my best to ignore it myself.

The phone stopped ringing once again and silence covered the room before a lot of messages from the same person started to come through his phone.

This time he didn't ignore it, he got himself up and took the phone, looking irritated as he dialed the number.

One ring in and the person on the other side picked up, and he didn't give them a chance to speak as he started talking.

"Get off my line Ashley, I'm not playin wit you"

"Do I give a Fvck?"

"That's not a nigga's problem, you fvcked up"

Immediately he dropped the call before doing something else on his phone and then putting it back on the table.

Words honestly couldn't describe the energy I was feeling at this point and of course I started to feel sad, but even so I removed the blankets from my legs and got myself over to him, hugging him from behind.

"Do you still love her?" I asked calmly. He gave me no response as he just let out a frustrated sigh before a knock came through from the door.

"You two love birds can't still be smooching in there. Breakfast is ready"....
