AMBER

"JJ" I said as he laughed.

"Stop playing with me, where are we going" I asked and he smiled.

"It's a surprise" he said and I gave up.

"It better be a house if it's such a big surprise" I said and he took my hand and kissed it.

"She is really special to me" He said in a soft tone.

"She?", he smiled.

"Don't worry, there's way too much blood between her and I for anything to happen" he said.

"Cousin?" I asked and my question was answered when he pulled into an old age home.

"She been nagging to meet you"

"You told your grandma about me?" I asked as he took his seatbelt off.

"My mom did" he corrected as he got out the car and walked over to my side to open my door.

I froze in my seat and he laughed at me once he noticed. He had my door opened for me trying to get me out but I wasn't budging.

"Cm on mami, she already expecting you" he said and I took a big breath in before I got out the car.

"Don't worry about it, she already like you"

"How could you possibly know that?" I asked with my arms crossed against my chest.

"She asked to see you, which means my mom been saying good things about you" he responded and I sighed.

"Okay, I'm ready" I said as I grabbed his hand and dragged him with me inside the building.

A man behind the reception stood up and him and JJ dapped each other up.

"Yo man, been a long time" he greeted.

"Been a minute man, I gotta rush though, where she at?" JJ asked and the guy pointed to his right.

"Who this?" He asked in a low tone.

"My girl nigga, back up" JJ responded as he playfully pushed the guy.

"My bad, Mrs Jackson nice to meet you", I couldn't help it. I blushed so hard I wanted to cry...

"Hi" I struggled to say.

"Ayt, come on" he said intertwining my hand with his and leading me to the direction the receptionist guy said we should go.

We went down a hall before we reached a big door that took you outside. There was a lot of elderly people. Some playing chess, some just looking at flowers, some playing mini golf...

"Dre!!"

We both looked slightly to the right and there we saw an elderly lady waving. She was sitting with other elderly people, I think they were playing cards.

"She looks like your mom" I said and he smiled at me.

"Come on" he said leading me to her.

"Ooooh baby, you are so grown up" his granny said hugging him as tight as she could.

"You have been working out" she added, admiring JJ's appearance and all.

"How you doing grandma" he greeted.

"Fantastic ever since you guys dumped me here" she said and I laughed on the inside.

"You must be Amber. Your mom was not wrong about her beauty" she winked and I blushed.

"Come come, let me introduce you to my friends" she said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me with her.

"Ladies, this is my grandson's girlfriend"
