Chapter 15

AMBER

I got into my third lesson and sat in my usual with people staring at me. I guess I really went the extra mile with my outfit today because guys I didn't even know tried to get my number in the hall.

It's a bummer that the person I got all dressed up for isn't here today....

"New you?" Tony whispered and I smiled.

"I just wanted to see something, that's all" I whispered back and he laughed to himself.

"He likes you Amber, there is no need for all of this, you look like his ex"

"Oh my gosh, shut up" I said rolling my eyes, a little bit offended.

"Seriously, you ain't gotta do all that, he really fvcks wit you, just give him time" Tony said and I sighed before we focused for the rest of the lesson.

If I'm being honest, I really wasn't paying attention to the lesson, I couldn't think straight because of the kiss yesterday. What was that all about? Wasn't he on a mission to pretend like I don't exist?...

For the rest of the lesson I just thought about JJ until the bell rang snapping me out of my thoughts. I gathered my things and rushed out of class and out to the break area where I'd find Lay and my sister.

"Amber, just the person I wanted to see" Lay said as she pulled me to sit down.

"Kim said she want MacD, but I say we get Roco to be a little fancy", I laughed to myself and was about to respond but Tony took Lays attention.

"Hi baby" she greeted and pecked him.

"What's happening" he asked and she pouted.

"We are discussing where to eat" she responded and he gave her a one eyebrow look.

"What?" She asked.

"I got food on the way" he responded and Lay happily clapped her hands.

"What you get?"

"I don't know, Alex is coming with it" Tony responded and my sister rolled her eyes.

"You got Roco didn't you?" She said defeated.

"And pizza" Tony added and I let a small smile out.

We chatted away for a good two minutes until the rest of the gang joined, including Alex who brought exactly what Tony said he would bring.

I greeted everyone else and Alex sat next to me before JJ and Tina showed up.

I mentally rolled my eyes while I watched her sit right next to him and get really comfortable in his space.

"This is new" Lay said looking at JJ who gave her an emotionless look.

"I know you see me, Lay" Tina started.

"Unfortunately" Lay responded and Kim fought a laugh. Tina mean mugged Lay before she wrapped her arm around JJ and reached to open the pizza box but lay stopped her.

"Baby, come on" Tony said quickly stepping in because it was clear that there was going to be a fight.

"Are you defending her?" Lay asked and that's when I knew I was ready to get away.

Just as I was about to stand up, my phone started ringing and I happily picked up, grateful for a distraction from all of this.

"Wassup gorgeous" slim greeted.

"Hey" I greeted back, lowkey blushing.

His really not a bad guy, actually his cute, and really sweet. In a simple summary, his a vibe....
