Prompt♥: you were with your favorite host for some years now, but now, the spark wasn't there anymore. As if it just disappeared, or so you thought. (song inspired by heartbreak anniversary by Giveon)

♥ Haruhi ♥:

balloons are deflated, guess they look lifeless like me:

Your hand gripped around the string attached to the balloon above you, the roses in your hand were damaged, and dying. The feeling of your heart breaking crept into your chest.

"Haruhi, I'm sorry about earlier. I wasn't thinking, I know you're busy with work and all." You began to babble on, you watched as Haruhi rose from her seat on the couch.

"What is this? I-Do-, do you really think this would help any? I can't believe you, y/n. I can't do this anymore, you know, Tamaki was right. This whole relationship is too toxic." She continued to rant.

Your eyebrows forward in anger, that was the last straw, hearing his name nearly every day drove you crazy! With that, you slammed the flowers onto the ground beneath you.

"Shut up! I'm tired of hearing about Tamaki, that's all you ever talk about! Every time I seem to fuck shit up, I always try and apologize, yet you keep bringing that bastard up! Just go be with him. In fact, get out." You said, her eyes widen as tears teased her eyes.

"y/n, you don't mean that." she started, you released the balloon in hand, "Oh, no baby, I do. Now call him up and leave." you replied as your lazily carried yourself to your bedroom.

From that day on, everyday felt like shit. She packed her things and left. The scene continued to play in your head on a constant repeat.

♥ Hikaru ♥:

"Come on Hikaru. I promise you; you're going to find someone who will love you as much as you loved Haruhi, hell maybe even more." Kaoru murmured to his twin as he rubbed his back.

The sound of Hikaru sobs were covered by the muffling of his arms against his forehead. His head sunk closer to his desk, the tip of his nose touching the desk.

"It's not that easy, she was the only one, aside from you, I could truly get to understand me." Hikaru started, Kaoru frowned as he continued to rub his brother's back.

"Everyone, please, may I have your attention? I would like to introduce one of our new students." The teacher spoke to the class before he motioned someone to enter the room.

A person who beautiful s/c skin, bright e/c eyes, and a toothy smile entered the room. Their eyes lively and welcoming, everyone watched as they entered the classroom.

"Everyone, please welcome our new student y/n l/n, they're from h/c and will be studying with us for the remainder of the year and hopefully next year too." The teacher said, everyone watched as y/n bowed before them.

"Thank you so much for having me. I'm looking forward to working with you all and hopefully building friendships too." y/n murmured the last bit.

"Very well, please sit next to Kaoru, Mr. Hitachiin please raise your hand." the teacher asked, with that, his hand rose into the air.

y/n nodded their head as they started towards their desk, "Hello-, oh? Is he okay?" y/n questioned as they noticed the older twin with his head down.

"Oh, this is Hikaru, he's not feeling so well. Sorry about that." Kaoru replied, y/n hummed in reply.

"Hikaru!" y/n called out to him as they ran down the hall to catch up with him. Hikaru stopped as he turned on his heel to face y/n.

"Yeah, what is it?" He asked, y/n cleared their throat, as they thrusted an extra lunch box into his hands.

"I made this for you, I figured since you ate nearly all my lunch last week, I would just make an extra lunch for you." y/n teased as they watched for Hikaru to take the lunch.

A small smile crept onto his face as he gladly accepted the lunch from his hyper-active best friend, y/n. Maybe, just maybe he could call in love again.

"Are you fucking serious, Hikaru?" y/n cried out as they threw anything they could at the man before them. Hikaru stood back into a corner as he knew exactly what he did.

"y/n please, I didn't mean to say Haruhi!" he panicked.

"You're lying to me! I'm so tired of this, I can't do this anymore. I'm so tired of being a replacement for Haruhi! Why can't you accept that she's happily married to Tamaki?" y/n snapped.

They were fuming, the number of times Hikaru said Haruhi instead of their names. In random conversation, sure it can happen, but when you're making love to your partner? The one you devoted yourself to, the one you married.

"I-, it's not like that! Come on, y/n!" Hikaru shouted in reply as he got dressed, y/n continued to throw things at him. Taking it as a champ, he continued to get dressed.

"I can't do this anymore, since you want to be with her so fucking much, why don't you just go and break them up? Here give her this ring too." y/n yanked their wedding band off their finger and threw it at him.

"y/n, don't you dare throw that. W-what are you doing?" He panicked, he watched as their naked figure rushed to get dressed. Once dressed, y/n pulled their small suitcase from their closet.

"I don't need this; I refuse to be a replacement. I deserve someone who's going to love me for me and not just a replacement. Good fucking bye, Hikaru Hitachiin." y/n said as they hurried out the room with their small suitcase.

He grew hysterical, he couldn't control himself, he was losing it. He was becoming a mad man, y/n was right. They deserved someone better than him, someone who's going to love them for them and not just to be a replacement.

♥ Kaoru ♥:

i still see the messages you read, mmm

A shit eating grin appeared on his face as he stared down at his phone. 'one message from 'y/n ♥', A pair of blue eyes peered over his shoulders.

"Ou? Who are you texting?" The voice of Huni Senpai filled his ears, Kaoru felt his face flush as he hid his phone away.

"N-no one!" Kaoru panicked, he felt embarrassed, only Hikaru knew about Kaoru's partner. He was afraid to tell them, although no issue with the host club, but the girls who came to the host club would sure throw a fit.

"Doesn't seem just like anyone, Kaoru~." Huni continued to tease the younger male, Hikaru snickered as he leaned against a nearby wall. Kaoru rolled his eyes as he glared at Hikaru, "Kaoru as a little lover~, pretty cute if I must say so myself." Hikaru said.

This caught the attention of everyone else in the host club, Haruhi placed her book down as she listened in onto the conversation, as did Tamaki.

"The little devil has a boyfriend/girlfriend/partner? So that means Haruhi is a bit safer than before!" Tamaki cheered, Haruhi clicked her tongue as she glared at Tamaki.

"Oh shush, Senpai. We're all just classmates, no one's out to be with anyone! Anyway, I'm happy for you, Kaoru, can we meet them?" Haruhi questioned, Kaory scratched the back of his neck.

"I can see if y/n is free. I don't think it should be a problem." Kaoru said to his fellow members.
