[ kaoru x bride-to-be! reader ]

June 28,

The day, ____ ____ was soon to become Mrs. Nakamura, the news spread like wild fire in the country of Japan. Invitations were sent out to all of her close friends, much to her displeasure. Aside from the gawking publicity, the members of the host club were the last ones to find out.

The youngest host, Haruhi Fujioka rushed into the music room holding the invitation in her hand. Today was an off day for the hosts and hostess. Tamaki was the first to come towards the short female, "Where were you! You were scaring daddy!" he cried.

"Not now, Senpai. Besides I was handed an invitation to a wedding." She said.

The attention of the remaining hosts looked over at the two teens, Hikaru and Kaoru were surrounding the girl within moments, "Haruhi, we should plan our wedding soon." Hikaru teased, "I think soft pink would do her just fine." Kaoru pitched in.

She rolled her large brown eyes as she handed them the card, "No way in hell, besides we should be preparing for ____'s wedding." Haruhi said to the boys.

Within seconds, everyone surrounded her, trying to sneak a peak of the card in her hand. Tamaki gawked as he grabbed the card and began to exam it. His eyes widen in shock, "She really is getting married! The wedding is in a few days!" Tamaki proclaimed.

"Huh!" Kaoru said loudly, Hikaru looked over at his twin in confusion, "Aren't you happy for her?" he asked his brother. Kyoya watched the reactions of the younger twin, he opened his book as he wrote down a few notes.

"What a surprise," Kyoya commented.

"____ Chan is getting married! Who's the lucky guy?" Mitsukuni asked around. Takashi pointed to the name on the card, thus it read; You are invited to join us as Kotone Nakamura and _____ _____ tie the knot.

Kaoru peered at the card as a soft frown appeared on his relaxed face, she was really getting married, even after their promises?

"____ Chan, when we become bigger, you'll be my tsuma, right?" the young boy by the name Kaoru Hitachiin said with a smile as he looked at the girl before him. She nodded her head quickly, "Of course!" she giggled softly.

Despite him and his twin living in such an isolated world, they had opened their door to one person, who would in the future open the door for another special someone.

Kaoru grabbed her hand as they started to his older twin, Hikaru looked up at the two coming towards him, he tilted his head in confusion. "Kaoru?" he started. "Hikaru, I want to marry ___ Chan when we're bigger." He confessed.

The date was now June 28, the big day, your big day.

You felt yourself grow nervous as you looked at yourself in the mirror. Your face caked with makeup, Kotone insisted on having the wedding like an Italian tradition. Your dress was well white, Victorian styled, which was ironic.

You felt like a princess, however, you weren't going to have a very happy ending. You, ____ ____ was soon to become Nakamura _____. The pain in your chest increased as you heard the door open.

"Ah, bella! You look beautiful, my son will be very pleased." An older Italian woman said as she wore her designer dress. You watched as she inspected the dress closely. Your face reddens in embarrassment, helping you down from the mini stage, she helped with the veil.

The feeling of sickness filled your stomach, once the veil was on, she proceeded to help you out of the room. The sound of the music played in your ears, the feeling of becoming faint was soon to come.

Once reaching the entrance, your heart dropped completely, it was over, your life was over. Out of all people to marry, it had to be him, the one who only agreed to marry you for your family's fortune.

Kaoru hid in the curtains, he wore a nicely fitted black suit, his hair done to the finest. If he was going to crash a wedding, he was going to do it in style. He watched as the crowd of people waited for the bride-to-be to make her appearance. The music began hinting it was now or never, however, he couldn't help but imagine what their wedding would've been if they were to marry.

Gazing off into space he found himself in another place of mind. He found himself in traditional Japanese wedding attire, and she in a traditional Japanese kimono. Her soft skin shielded from the hot sun, not a kiss of sun hitting or damaging her skin. The way they would walk in front of each other's family, and friends.

The sound of her voice reading the script saying she gives herself to him completely. The way they would exchange vows with one another.

He was soon pulled from his fantasy world as he heard the priest finally say; "Speak now or forever hold your peace."

Kaoru felt his heart stopped as he finally showed himself to the public, "I object." He yelled. Everyone looked at him in shock, except the members of the host club. They smiled at him and gave him thumbs up.

___ turned swiftly as she looked at the auburn colored hair boy before her. Her face flushed as she smiled at him, however, her happiness was soon to be stopped. Her so called, soon to be husband grabbed her hand and glared at her.

"What are you doing, you idiota!" he said to her harshly as he soon gripped her wrist. ___ wrenched in pain as she shot him a daring look, a smirk played on her lips as she forced the engagement ring off her finger. She shoved his hands off of her.

Kaoru moved closer in order to stop the male, however he saw her break free with a smile, as he continued towards the beautiful girl.

"____, don't do it. You deserve better, you deserve someone like me." He spoke softly.

He watched as the girl kicked off her heels and started towards him. "Che diavolo sta succedendo? (What the hell is going on?)" Kotone's mother yelled out in annoyance. Kotone hollered out in anger as he watched she fiancé ran into Kaoru's arms.

"I—I love you." She mumbled softly to him.

"Let's get going before they try to stop us!" Kaoru said with a smile as he grabbed her hand. ___ threw off the veil as they started towards the exit of the church, the cheers of the host clubs went past their ears.

Her dress flew behind her as the couple ran down the streets of Japan, they ignored the stares of others. They in fact looked like a married couple, a very young married couple at that.

Once they reached far enough, Kaoru stopped the girl and held her close. She smiled at him before she reached to kiss him. Gladly accepting, the two shared a kiss in the middle of the park placed perfectly for them, as if they were in a movie.

"Now, let's not have your wedding dress go to waste." He joked softly.

"It doesn't have too." She replied bluntly.

His face flushed as he was glad he stopped the wedding.
