Second Person Point of View

You sit down at the Chabudai with your laptop open in front of you. Haruhi, your friend of two years sits on the other side of you as she continues to do her homework. You're currently editing your recent video for your YouTube channel.

"___, you should be working on your homework, you know how Sensei Nakamura is." Haruhi comments as she continues to work.

Softly sighing, you glance up to her as you then lean on the table. You watch as she focuses on her work completely ignoring you. "It'll fine, I'll turn it in tomorrow." You say to her with a smile. She looks up at you and frowns as she sets her pencil down.

"You said that about the last homework assignment we had, and now you're failing. ___, you're a good friend of mine, but I think this whole YouTube thing is distracting you." She states bluntly.

As if the world stops around you, the feeling of shame fills your stomach. This wasn't the first time she mentioned the whole YouTube thing, in fact she wasn't the only one who said something like this before.

"But, I have over 10,000 subscribers. I'm doing pretty good, I can't just abandon my subscribers." You reply softly.

She massages her temples as she looks at you with a blank face, she wasn't against the whole YouTube thing, if anything she was for it, however, ever since you've managed to get 10,000 subscribers, you've changed a lot. Everyone could see it, you've became more self-centered, worse than Tamaki.

"Are you hearing yourself? You've changed, you're not doing your work, you're failing classes." Haruhi begins to ramble on.

Your mind drifts away from the topic as your mind lingers with video ideas, ignoring the fact what she was saying was true. It would never occur to you until it's too late.
