Second Person Point of View

You stand behind the counter, feet hurting, the smell of hamburger lingering around you. Working at a fast food restaurant was something you'd never seen yourself doing. Yet, here you are, greeting customers as they walk in, taking orders and insults.

"Hello, how are you doing?" you ask as you notice a pair of teenagers walking inside. One of the boys had blonde hair and stood to be at least 6" tall as the other boy couldn't be any taller than 5"2'. The blonde-haired boy seemed displeased with the restaurant.

"Haruhi, why do we have to come here? It's so, scary." He mumbles to the boy.

You sigh to yourself, your eyes narrow as the two boys stood in front of you, you wait for them to order as you feel your feet aching in pain. Leaning against the counter you sigh softly as you continue to wait.

"Okay, we're ready to order." The shorter boy says.

"Okay, what can I get for you?" you ask nicely.

"Haruhi, we can eat fancy tuna instead," the blonde whines.

"No, Senpai, you need to experience life as a 'commoner'." He mumbles softly.

You watch silently as you see the line continue to grow, the people behind them begin to whisper. The teens begin to bicker for a moment, you feel a headache coming along as you listened to the two.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" you ask.

The tall blonde glances over to you, he gives you a smile, "What's a beautiful young lady like you working here?" he asks as he looks at you. Your face flushes in embarrassment, you sigh softly and clear your throat.

"I'm saving up for a trip." You answer him softly.

"Well you are a sight for sore eyes, maybe I'll come back." He says as he gives you a playful wink. What feels like forever, he and his friend Haruhi finally order. Handing you the money, he watches you closely.

You quickly thrust the change into his hands, "Your order will be ready shortly." You say quickly, both the boy and the named boy, Haruhi move aside as they wait for their food.

Once getting their meals, the pair leaves the restaurant, however, the tall blonde glances back at you and says, "I'll see you again, Hamburger girl." He says smiling.

A small smile forms on your face as you watch him, maybe working here won't be so bad.
