Promise

There she sat, ____, watched as her producer put together the last pieces of the song. A soft sigh escaped her lips, the sound of the door opened. Her _____ eyes glanced over to the door. She watched as her husband of four years entered the room with their daughter Mika. ___'s eyes lighten up, it's been so long since she last seen her daughter and beloved husband.

Kyoya gave her a slight smile as he approached her, "How is everything going?" he asked her softly. The young woman stood up and hugged her husband, "So stressful." she mumbled to him. The smaller Ootori joined in the family huddle, her smile brightened the room.

"Mommy, I want to be a singer just like you!" the young girl proclaimed .

Her heart fluttered with delight yet sorrow, she missed most of her daughter's years of growing up. The young mom took her daughter's hand, "How about you help mommy with her song." She spoke to the girl.

Her brown eyes lighten in delight, she stared up at her mother with a grin. "Do you really mean it?" She asked eagerly. ____ nodded her head, within moments she led the young girl to the recording booth. "Will I sound just like you, mommy?"

The woman smiled and shrugged, "Maybe you'll sound even better." She answered. Kyoya watched as the two lovely ladies started the song. He could only imagine how happy his little girl was, to finally be with her mother after so many years of her touring.

He couldn't help but recall, missing Birthdays and Christmas holidays. Even though the job had dealt with many chances of travel and great pay, it took away from the family time their daughter needed . Not to mention, Kyoya being busy with the Ootori business.

They both were missing out, but today was the day they promised to spend as much time with their little girl, even if it means canceling business plans, today was about her.

They vowed to keep their promises, no matter how hard it can get. They promised to raise their daughter like any other normal kid.
