First Day of School

         

Twins x Reader

Annoyed. The word which could describe how you felt, you pulled at your uniform, trying to make it work. With your heavy book bag on your back, the sight of students standing with their friends, laughing and talking. You didn't want to be here, you hated here. Once reaching your homeroom, you hurried to a desk not awaiting instructions.

"___ !" a voice called out sweetly.

Your eyes shifted over following the voice to only be faced with Kaoru and Hikaru. Another year with them once again, a small amount of anxiety escapes your chest. A small smile appeared on your face, perhaps the school year will be decent.

"Hey, guys, nice to see you both again," you replied.

A small conversation started among you all, with little knowledge, you failed to notice the lonesome boy in the back of the classroom as if the main protagonist of an anime. He had blonde hair, seemingly a foreigner. Your eyes shifted to the boy as Hikaru continued to talk.

"Is he an exchange student?" you asked them both.

Kaoru studied the boy for a moment before shaking his head, Hikaru then went on to explain the foreign boy named Nathan Saito, a boy whose mom married a Japanese business man. You couldn't help but be attracted to his history.

"He transferred from Kyōtotachibana High," Hikaru informed you.

You forward your eyebrows in confusion before your face showed a polite smile. "I want to talk to him." You said before standing up, Hikaru quickly grabbed your wrist and pulled you back down. Kaoru watched his brother's actions, he mentally scolds his brother.

"___, I won't he's a bit weird," Hikaru said softly to you.

You scoffed and pulled your wrist back, there's the old Hikaru you knew. Upon removing your wrist, you stood up once more before walking to the boy. You watched the boy as he wrote in his note book, in which seemed to be in English.

Swallowing hard, you prepped yourself into starting a conversation with the boy. Your English wasn't the very best, but you couldn't help but try out your English skills. Sweat started to come from your skin, you were nervous.

"Uh, h-hello. M-my name is ___ ___. W-what is y-your name?" you spoke out slowly not sure what to say, not even sure if you pronounced it right. The blonde-haired boy looked at you with a small smile. He seemed a bit sad at the fact you spoke in English.

"I can speak Japanese." The boy said with a small chuckle.

Your ___ skin turned flushed, clearly embarrassed by the reaction. Hikaru and Kaoru watched as you started a conversation with the boy. Hikaru couldn't help but feel envy towards the boy, as Kaoru simply enjoyed your attempts to speak with him, he found it cute.

A small conversation with the boy started, the conversation was too lively, the time flew by. Sensei seemed to not mind the small talk, he thought it was very kind of you.

The time for the next class started, you found yourself walking with the boy along with Kaoru and Hikaru towards your next class.

"Would you like to eat with us?" you asked the boy, he nodded with a smile.

However, Hikaru was not pleased, as for Kaoru, he didn't seem to mind the boy. He found him to be pleasant to be around if only Hikaru could see it.
