Chapter 20

Three days before Christmas

Eren and Levi were in the park taking pictures for the school to see.

"Try to smile," said Eren

"It's cold as shit," said Levi

"Aww fine,"

They continued on taking pictures but this time Eren felt different about taking them. It was most likely due to what him and his mother talked about the other day.

Now knowing what he felt for Levi made him have more butterflies in his stomach than usual.

Eren found it very hard to look at Levi without blushing thank god it was freezing outside or Levi might of question him. Speak of the devil

"Oi brat are you alright?" Asked Levi

They had sat down at a park bench and Levi had just Eren a question but got no response due to Eren being lost in deep thoughts

"What did you say, sorry?" said Eren snapping back to reality

"I asked if you were invited to Braun and Hoover's Christmas party?"

"Oh yeah,"

The Christmas party was actually a cover for what the actual party was about.

"Are you sure you not sick, Yeager?" asked Levi as he scooted close to Eren

Eren face got very red as Levi got close to him. He was close enough that there shoulders were bump next to each other

Eren tried to look away but Levi grab by the cheek with one hand and touched his forehead with the back of the other hand

Now Eren was more red but he definitely knew that it wasn't just his feelings for Levi. He had actually been feeling off all day.

"I knew it, you have a fever dumbass," said Levi getting up and dragging Eren with him

"Hey wait where are we going,"

"To my house since it's close by,"

Levi dragged Eren all the way to his house despite all of Eren's protest.

They arrived at the entrance of the coffee shop and went straight in. Well technically Levi dragged Eren in

"Hey, dear, oh, hi Eren," said Ms. Ackerman clearly noticing Eren getting dragged

"Hi Ms. Ackerman,"

"Mother where is the medicine for colds, this fool got sick,"

They both spoke at the same time.

"Oh goodness Eren dear," said Ms. Ackerman clearly worried "I'll let your mother know and Levi the medicine is in the second cabinet in the kitchen and let Eren rest in your room,"

"Alright," said Levi dragging Eren before he could protest about his mother being called

Eren was forced to lay down on Levi's bed and Levi got him warm soup, medication, and even put him a movie

"Levi you don't have to-,"

"Shut up,"

Eren stayed silent and decided to just let it go because in the end of the day there's no point in arguing with the Ackermans

Levi left to fetch a wet towel to try and lower Eren's fever but soon Eren's phone started to ring and Eren knew who it was

"Hey mom,"

"Eren sweetie are you okay!?" she said clearly sounding worried

Eren ear already started ringing but he managed to still answer "Yeah mom I'm fine,"

"Ok but stay at Kuchel's house until I get out from work, I'll come pick you up!"

Eren knew it wasn't a good idea to argue with his mother either "Yeah mom I will,"

The conversation ended and Levi came back in with the wet towel

"Feeling better brat," asked Levi

Eren nodded but soon heated up again when Levi touched his forehead

"You are still very hot," said Levi

Eren glad that Levi didn't know it was a blush

Suddenly Levi's phone started to ring. "What do you need gloomy brat?"

"Alright then," said Levi ending the conversation

"Mikasa?" asked Eren

"Mhm,"

Levi soon left to go pick up Mikasa from Annie's house since Annie didn't have time to drop her off because of work

Eren got bored of not having Levi's company so he decided to text his friends in the group chat and tell them what was going on. (This group chat doesn't include Hange, Erwin, Mikasa, and Levi, but they are included in another group chat)

Horseface: At least something good happened (Eren replies Son of a bitch)

Marco: Are you feeling better?
(Eren replies yeah a lot better)

Historia: Do you need medicine?
(Eren replies no Levi got them already)

Ymir: Eren women up
(Eren replies but I'm a man)

Sasha: Want me to bring you food?
(Eren replies Nah next time though)

Annie: Kick it in the ass
(Eren replies what exactly?)

Hitch: Are you going to be ok for the party?
(Eren replies I hope so)

Marlo: Get well
(Eren replies I will)

Connie:Should I send Levi a nurses costume?😏
(Eren replies NO WHAT THE HELL!)

Eren was blushing like mad. That was an image that will now be stuck in his brain for a while

He continued talking with his friends until Connie became to much with his teasing

Eren was left with a red face for a while

Eren kept thinking about his mother's words the other day and seeing how Levi goes out of his way to nurse him back to help got Eren thinking that there might be hope but he decided not get delusional because in the end of the day any great friend would do that.

For him, Levi was a mystery within a mystery, Eren's couldn't easily read him, in fact he couldn't read him at all

Eren hadn't decided if he was ready to tell Levi how he felt. Eren didn't have a clear image on what Levi felt especially since he could be treating him like this because of their fake relationship. Maybe to help get more into character

"Oh here you go again overthinking," said Eren to himself

Eren lied down in Levi's bed and breath in his scent, it was comforting to Eren

Eren felt his eyes getting tired and before he knew it he fell asleep while thinking about a certain someone

Yes yes I know what you guys are thinking, "What the hell took you so long!?"
And honestly a lot of things but I tried hard to be able to continue this for you my lovelies. Here are two chapters complete it for you guys. I don't know how long it will take me to post the next chapter but I hope to have it done soon.
