Chapter 21

Two days before Christmas

"Do you feel better now?" asked Armin

"Yeah, a lot better," replied Eren

Armin and Eren were at a sleepover at Armin's house, watching a movie. They though that it has been a while since they hung out with each other.

"Where is Erwin anyways?"

"Oh he went out of town for family matters but he will be back on Christmas Eve,"

"Shouldn't he take you with him since you will be part of the family some day?" Said Eren with a teasing tone

Armin blushed and threw a pillow at Eren

"D-don't say things like that!"

"What it's true," said Eren laughing

"His parents are fine with us and so is grandpa but there is no guarantee that I will be a part of there family," said Armin with red face

"What do you mean no guarantee, he treats you like royalty and you two seem so deep in love that it make almost everyone jealous!"

"H- he does not!" said clearly lying but being too flustered to think straight

"Oh really," said Eren "Getting you anything you want, taking you out anywhere you want, always texting you whenever he misses you which is constantly, and always listening and kissing you isn't royal treatment,"

As if cue Erwin's name popped up on Armin's screen.

Eren grabs Armin's phones and shows to his face almost if the phone was a trophy he had just won from Armin.

"See what I mean!"

Armin blush harder if possible and quickly grabs his phone from Eren and texts Erwin back. After that he decided to turned the table to Eren.

"When are you going to become Eren Ackerman?"

"EHH!"

This caught Eren so off guard that he fell of the bed since he was at the edge

"Shh grandpa is sleeping," said Armin but Eren either didn't hear or didn't care

"What do you mean by that!"

"Aww come on don't lie, you and Levi are together," said Armin getting his confidence back up and his face color back to normal

"No we are not!"

"Then why the cute pictures, hand holding, and cuddling?" said Armin with a raised eyebrow

"We are just hanging out and besides I cuddled with you when you weren't dating Erwin," said Eren with a little annoyed tone

"I guess," said Armin "but with Levi I see you different,"

Eren though about it but he didn't know how different he was acting towards Levi than the rest of his friends. He thought he had hid it well but apparently not since Armin sees it. To be fair Armin has known since childhood so maybe that why he could tell

Eren wanted to tell Armin the truth but that will ruin the prank that him and Levi have been keeping up for months now.

Eren decided to tell him some of the truth

"I see Levi differently from a friend," said Eren

That wasn't a lie but he made sure he doesn't include anything to do with the prank

"I knew it!" said Armin in victory "So how long have you two been together!?"

"Ehh we aren't!" said Eren loudly
