So BTS didn't win the Grammy.

Sadly I expected this.

You know what the worst part is. America acts like they respect kpop as a genre (and I'm not saying people don't here, I see celebrities jamming out to BTS and I actually saw a celeb listening to Red Velvet 😂 I forgot who- it was a long time ago when I wasn't into kpop), but America itself really treats k pop like crap.

It's like... they say music has no boundaries when it comes to language than really be disrespecting them in the award shows. Listen I know I'm an army so yeah I'm a little biased... but how are you not gonna agree that BTS literally deserved that award when they were charting so well... they were literally number one for multiple straight weeks if I'm not mistaken and the song itself was so popular WORLDWIDE. Meanwhile Rain on Me... no offense to Lady Gaga and Ari but... who has been talking about that song recently?? I low key forgot about it 💀

IM NOT SPREADING HATE TO THEM AND PLS ARMIES DO NOT DO THAT! They don't deserve the hate when it's not like THEY rigged it so they could win. I just feel like they didn't really 'earn' that win when Rain on Me's time had ended... like it already got a lot of hype and won an award. (Maybe multiple idk-)

Not just BTS either. Weeknd was also robbed. The were charting SO well yet he was robbed a nomination ?? The logic ??

Listen I know that it's 'people on a board' voting and tallying stuff. And I'm not trying to sound like a butt hurt fan because I did expect this. But come on, how are you gonna tell me that they didn't win when they were literally on top. I just- I really wanna know what the criteria was 💀 👋

Whatever man, America can't handle BTS but they should stop pretending they 'woke' when they ain't. Leave their show shopping things to Korea. Jokes on you America/Grammy. BTS performed dynamite for you because they are humble and respectful and will still perform for us because they are that kind of people... but you guys will never see the legendary stages they do at Korea because you don't deserve to 👏

Black Swan 😏

Some people like to say that kpop doesn't respect international fans and while I can KIND OF agree, don't act like I-fans can't be just as bad. (I mean I know it's not international fans fault but I'm just saying BTS even face problems here too...)

It just sucks that even though BTS has gotten big and are literally still the same humble and down to earth people, you have people still undermining them and speaking as if they are above BTS. You had that stupid Russian radio host literally telling BTS to not cover Fix You Coldplay and basically indirectly says they should stick to their own language then proceeded to say he 'wasn't racist because his car was manufactured in Korea' 💀 it really wasn't too, it was manufactured in Japan-

Just freaking leave them alone. It's the 21st century can we get over this white supremacy shit??
