Until the very end
Part 10
Ashton is growing and he is finally back to a normal healthy weight. He is now at 21 pounds the average weight for an 8 month old.
Taylor was working out in the yard since summer was right around the corner.
Miranda and Ashton sat on the ground and she was playing with him. Ashton was sitting in front of her, and he tilted over, Miranda put her hands out for his head didn't hit the ground. She picked him up and sat him on her legs. "Ashton, say mama." Miranda said. "Bababa." Ashton babbled. "Oh is that right?" Miranda asked. "Mama." She repeated. "Babababa." Ashton said. "No silky boy, can you say mama?" Miranda asked. Taylor walked through the door, "Ashton, say mama." Miranda said. He blew raspberry at her. "Mama?" She asked. Taylor washed his hands, and sat on the floor next to her. "How's the yard looking?" Miranda asked. "It's starting to look really good outside, what are you two doing?" Taylor asked. "I'm trying to get him to say mama but all he wants to say is Bababa." Miranda joked. "Let me try." Taylor said. She handed him Ashton. "Say dada." Taylor said. "Bababa." Ashton said, and he started to make fart noises. "Dada." Taylor said. "Maybe he's not ready, but he'll get there." Taylor said. "I know." Miranda said. "Want to take a walk to Bunker hill park?" Taylor asked. "I think that's a great idea." Miranda said. "Let me put this sweet boy into some clothes." Miranda said. She took him upstairs and put him in a white onesie and put him in overalls with a little bunny coming out of the pocket. They walked downstairs and she handed Ashton to Taylor and he put him in his Kolcraft stroller, and buckled him in. Miranda grabbed her water bottle and Taylor took her hand and they were off.
They walked the trails at Bunker hill, "look Ashton, a deer." Miranda said. "He doesn't care." She joked. They stopped and took Ashton out of the stroller and Miranda grabbed his little hands and walked with him. "Look he's doing it." Miranda said, with excitement. "Good job sweet boy." Taylor said.
She picked him up and carried him, they continued looking at the trees and the deer that they came across. After walking around they headed home.
Once they got home, they sat Ashton down for some tummy time, and he fell asleep doing tummy time. Taylor took a picture and then picked him up and took him upstairs to his crib. "He's out." Taylor said. Miranda finished washing the dishes and they sat on the couch and watched a show.
"It's crazy how fast he is growing." Miranda said. "He needs to say small not keep getting bigger." Taylor said. "He's going to be one soon, then he'll go off to college, move out, and get married and have kids and then we will have grandkids before we even know." Miranda said. "Slow down babe." Taylor said.
After Ashton's nap, Miranda fed him, changed his diaper, and sat on the couch with him. "Mama." Miranda said, trying to get him to say it. "Ma- ma. Ma- ma." Ashton said. "Yeah!" Miranda said, clapping her hands. "That's right sweet boy." Miranda said. "Babe!" She yelled. Taylor came running downstairs. "Yeah?" He asked. "He said mama." Miranda said. "No he didn't." Taylor said. "Yeah, watch." Miranda said. Taylor sat next to her. "Mama." Miranda said. "Ma-ma. Bababa." Ashton said. "I told you." Miranda said. "Yay!" Taylor said. "Good job Ashton." Taylor said, picking up his boy.
