It's been 7 years, Ashton is now 8 years old, Taylor and Miranda gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Adalyn Jane, who is now 7 years old.

Miranda and Taylor got out of bed at 6am sharp, and went to wake up the kids for school, "Ashton, bud, time for school." Miranda said, softly by his bedroom door. "I'm not going." Ashton responded. "Yes sir, you are. Do you have a fever?" Miranda asked. "No ma'am." Ashton said. "Are you vomiting?" Miranda asked. "No ma'am." Ashton replied. "Alright, get out of bed, and get ready for school please." Miranda said firmly, walked downstairs, Adalyn was sitting at the table, eating her breakfast. "Good morning, mommy." Adalyn said in her soft sweet voice. "Good morning baby." Miranda smiled, kissing the top of her head. Miranda grabbed a brush, and some detangling spray and fixed Adalyn's hair. "Thank you, mommy." Adalyn said. "You're welcome baby." Miranda said. About an hour later, Miranda and Taylor got both kids in the car, and drove to the school. Ashton got out of the car and walked to the front. Unlike Adalyn, she was alway excited for school till they got there. "No mommy, please don't leave me." Adalyn cried, in the backseat. Adalyn has major separation anxiety from Miranda and Taylor. "Baby, you have to go to school." Taylor said. "I want to stay  with you and mommy." Adalyn cried. "Come on baby, I will walk you to class." Miranda said, getting out of the car, and getting her out, holding her hand. Miranda walked her to her class, got her to her desk, and bent down next to her, "I will see you at 3:30, about 8 hours from now. Mommy loves you very much, and I promise I will be back." Miranda told. Adalyn just cried; "She'll be alright, Mrs.Kinney." The teacher, Mrs.Johnson said. Miranda gave her a kiss, and walked away, walked back to the car, and Miranda and Taylor both headed to Set.
Meanwhile, at the school, Ashton was at recess and he walked out to the Field where no one could see him so he thought, along with some other little boy, named Carson. Ashton and Carson have been arguing throughout the day, and Ashton finally had enough and punched Carson in the face. Carson grabbed his face, then punched back. "Fuck you." Ashton yelled in his face. "No one talks badly about my mom and sister. Wait till my dad finds out you called my mom a bitch. He will beat your dad's ass." Ashton warned, then punched Carson once more in the face. "My dad isn't scared of him." Carson said. "He should be." Ashton said, pushing him to the ground and punching him. The teacher who was on recess duty, ran over to them, pulling Ashton off Carson. "Both of you, to the office now." The teacher said firmly. Ashton walked away, and inside the building and straight to the office. The teacher told the principal what happened, when she walked Carson to the office. "Go ahead, call my mom, tell her to come pick me up cause I'm suspended." Ashton said, with an attitude. The principal questioned them both, and called both of their parents. Miranda left set, and drove to the school, to get Ashton.
"Boy, what were you thinking?" Miranda asked, as they walked to the car. "Mom, you don't understand, he was talking badly about you and Adalyn. He called you the b-word." Ashton explained himself. "Boy, that isn't something you should punch a kid for, you should've waited and told me or your dad." Miranda told. Ashton got into the car, "I was just protecting you and Adalyn." Ashton told, with a tear running down his cheek. "Baby, I understand that, but you don't have to protect me, that is my job is to protect you." Miranda said, wiping his tears away and kissing his head. Miranda took Ashton back to set with her, walked inside. "Boy! Get over here." Taylor said, firmly. Ashton walked to him, "Dad, I was just protecting mom, and Addy," Taylor gave him a confused look; "Carson called mom the b-word." Ashton explained. Taylor went from going to punish him, to giving him a compliment, "Good job, son." Taylor said, ruffling up his hair. "You're not mad at me?" Ashton asked. "No sir, not anymore, you did the right thing." Taylor said.
They spent the rest of the day on Set, then went to the school to pick up Adalyn. They went to the house, Taylor helped Adalyn and Ashton with their homework, while Miranda started dinner.
"Addy, set the table please." Miranda told her daughter. "Yes ma'am." Adalyn said, stood up and set the table. Miranda made them all plates, and sat them on the table, then poured herself a glass of wine, got Taylor a beer, and the kids a juice box.
"Thank you." Ashton and Adalyn said. "You're welcome, babies." Miranda said. They all sat down, and had dinner as a family.
