Ashton's first birthday

One year ago, Miranda and Taylor became parents to a sweet baby boy; Ashton Blake Kinney.
Ashton woke Miranda and Taylor up at 7:00 sharp, Miranda picked him up, and gave him a kiss. "Happy Birthday, sweet boy." Miranda said, Taylor stood next to her and wrapped his arm around her. "Happy Birthday, buddy." Taylor said. They went downstairs and Taylor started to clean up, and make coffee. While Miranda fed Ashton; since he was still breastfeeding once in the morning, and once before bed. After feeding Ashton, Miranda sat on the couch with Taylor; enjoying their coffee, and watching Ashton play in the living room.
After about 30 minutes
Miranda went upstairs, showered, and got dressed in ripped jeans, a white tee with butterflies and sunflowers, and white Nike Air Force 1's. She fixed her hair, and put on some light makeup.
Taylor got dressed, and fixed his hair.
Miranda put Ashton in a white onesie that said "wild one" with jeans. "You're one handsome boy." Miranda said, to her son.
Around 1:00 they headed to "Pump it up Chicago" where they rented a private party room and indoor playground for everyone to enjoy inflatables, food, and cake.
Once they arrived, they checked in and the nice worker showed them to their party room, which was fully  decorated with Mickey Mouse. "Let us know if you need anything." The nice worker said. "Thank you." Taylor said. "You're welcome." She said, and walked away.
"Sweet boy, look Mickey Mouse." Miranda said. "Mama Mickey." Ashton said, with the biggest smile on his face. She walked him over and showed him his Mickey Mouse cake.
Soon after, their friends started to show up, and the gift table started to get really full. "Who wants to start playing? Taylor asked. . "Me!" The little ones said. "Okay, everyone take off your shoes, and come on, let's go." Taylor said, taking his shoes off, being  the big kid he was, running out of the party room and towards the inflatables. Miranda stepped out of the party room, with Ashton in her arms "Taylor, I think you forgot someone." Miranda said, with a laugh. "Ashton, come here, buddy." Taylor said. Miranda put him down, and he slowly ran to Taylor. He picked him up, ran with the other kids onto the inflatables. Miranda and Kara walked over to them, and started taking pictures. Taylor took Ashton down the slide. Ashton had the biggest smile on his face, but at the same time he looked scared. Once he got to the end, he started crying, and reaching for Miranda. She picked him up and kissed his cheek. "Was that fun?" Miranda asked. "Yes." Taylor said, with a laugh. "I wasn't asking you." Miranda said with a laugh. "Ashton, wanna go again with aunt Kara?" Kara asked, after he stopped crying. He reached for her, "yes." He said. He laughed the whole way down the slide this time.
Miranda was taking pictures, and someone came up behind her, and started hugging her. She turned around, and smiled. "Annie!" She said, excited to see her. "You scared the crap out of me." Miranda said, hugging her back. "So glad you were able to make it." Miranda said. "Me too! Now, where is that sweet boy of yours?" Annie asked. "Somewhere in there with Kara." Miranda said. "There he is." Annie said pointing to the slide, as Ashton and Kara came down the slide. "Ashton, auntie Annie." Kara said. Ashton clapped his hands. Kara took his hand and helped him off the slide. Annie bent down, and gave him a hug.
