It was a Friday evening, after dinner, they cleaned the table, and Ashton and Adalyn started on the dishes. "Mommy we're finished." Adalyn said. "Good job, babies." Miranda said, sitting at the table reading a script. "Dad? Can we go play some basketball?" Ashton asked. "Sure bud." Taylor said, standing up and putting his shoes on, and going outside with Ashton. Adalyn climbed into Miranda's lap and attempted to read her script with her, "mommy, whatcha reading?" Adalyn asked. "I'm reading my script for work." Miranda explained. Adalyn laid her head back, twirled Miranda's hair with her finger, and attempted to read the script even though she couldn't read.
Taylor and Ashton passed the ball back and forth, playing basketball. "Dad, do you think my friend Braden could come over tomorrow?" Ashton asked. "Sure bud, if it's okay with his parents." Taylor said. "Thanks dad." Ashton said, throwing the ball into the hoop, Taylor nodded.
After a little, Ashton and Taylor went inside and Ashton went to take a shower. "Dada, can I paint your nails?" Adalyn asked, running into the living room with pink nail polish. "Sure baby, you can paint my toenails." Taylor said, with a small laugh. Adalyn sat in front of him on the floor, and got to work painting his toenails pink. After she finished, "dada, you wanna help me paint mommy's toenails pink?" Adalyn asked. "Sure,baby." Taylor said, sitting on the floor next to her, and Miranda lifted her foot up, and Taylor held her foot up while Adalyn painted. "You're so good at this, Addy." Taylor complemented. "Thank you, dada." Addy said. She painted her toes, then climbed up in her lap.
The next afternoon, Braden and his mom knocked on the door. Miranda opened the door, "Hi, Mrs.Kinney." Branden said. "Hi Branden." Miracle smiled, "come in." Miranda said, stepping to the side. "I'll pick him up at 7:30 if that's okay?" His mom asked. "That sounds wonderful." Miranda said. " Bye son, you behave yourself." His mom said. "Yes ma'am." Braden said. His mom walked to her car, and Miranda shut the door. Braden and Ashton went to his room,and started playing video games. Taylor was having a Tea Party with Adalyn.
Miranda sat on the couch, ordered a pizza, and read her scrips.
