Until the very end
Part 27
(1) It's finally the kids final days of 1st and 5th grade, and they were having their annual field day at school. While they got ready for school, Ashton and Addilyn bickered back and forth. "I want mommy and daddy with me at field day." Addy whined. "They're coming with me." Ashton argued. Their bickering has been going on all morning, and they were giving Miranda and Taylor a headache. "Ashton, Addilyn!" Taylor said, firmly. "What?" Ashton said, rudely. "Excuse you?" Taylor asked, looking at him with his 'dad' look. "Yes, sir?" Ashton asked. "Thank you, that's better." Taylor said, "please stop with the bickering." Taylor said. "But she wants you and mom to come with her to field day." Ashton said. "Ashton Blake, Addilyn Jane, we talked about this last night, Dad is going with Addy till lunch, I will go with Ashton till lunch, and after lunch we will switch." Miranda said. "Now stop, and get ready for school." Taylor said.  "Are we still going to Chick-fil-A for lunch?" Addy asked. "Yes, ma'am." Miranda said.
After getting the kids on the bus for school, Taylor and Miranda finished getting Alex, Abby, and themselves ready for the day. Since they will be outside all day, they are taking the twins to daycare. They dropped them off at daycare, and headed to the school. They walked in together, signed in at the office,  kissed, and went their separate ways till the kid's lunchtime.
(2) Miranda met up with Ashton's class, and Taylor met up with Addy's class. After taking roll call, they all went outside, to their first sections. Addy got to do the potato sack race, while Ashton and Miranda was doing the 3 mile run race. "I should've let your dad do this." Miranda joked. "Come on, mom, we only have 30 minutes to come in first place." Ashton said, being super competitive like both of his parents.
"Come on Addilyn Jane, you got this, princess." Taylor cheered, rooting from the sidelines. After a few jumps, Addilyn came in first place, and got a cute little 1st place bracelet. "Good job." Taylor said, as his little princess gave him a hug. "Thank you." Addy said.
After 27 minutes, Ashton and Miranda came in first place, after crossing the finish line, they both fell into the grass catching their breath.
(3) After a few hours it was lunchtime, Taylor and Miranda checked the kids out of school, and took them to Chick-fil-A. "How has the first half of filed day been?" Taylor asked. "Good, me and mom won the 3 mile run, and our class won volleyball, and we came in second bean bag toss." Ashton said, high-fiving his mom. "How about you and Addy?" Miranda asked, while they ate their lunch.  "Great, Addy came in first place in the potato sack race, and second in the ring toss game." Taylor said. "Yeah uh." Addy said. "You won the 3 mile run with mom?" Taylor asking, picking with Ashton and Miranda. "Yes, sir, in 27 minutes." Ashton said. "We could've done that in 20 minutes, son." Taylor said. "No, sir, me and mom are the best." Ashton said. Ashton definitely is a 'mommy's boy.'  After eating, and chatting for a little it was time for the family to head back to the school to finish the field day.
(4) Once they got back to school, and took roll call again, they went back outside. This time Taylor with Ashton and Miranda with Addy. They  did the rest of the fun-filled activities. The family met up at the front office. "Daddy, carry me, please." Addy whined, "My legs and feet hurt, and I'm sleepy." Addy whined. Taylor picked her up and carried her to the SUV, and buckled her into her seat. Ashton got into the back, and they headed to get the twins from daycare, and went home. On the way home Addy fell asleep in the back, so Taylor carried her inside and went back out to help his wife get the twins out of the car. "Ashton, go let Oakley out." Miranda said, and Ashton walked slowly inside to let their German shepherd puppy out to go potty, and played with her for a little. Taylor and Miranda put Alex and Abby down for their evening nap, and got started on dinner.
(5) Around 6:30 they all sat around the table for dinner, and shared their thoughts about their days. The twins mostly played with their food in their highchairs. After dinner, they all got baths, and showers, and in pjs for their Friday night movie. They all cuddled together, other then the twins, they were already in their cribs, sleeping. Taylor put on 'The Loud House Movie.' Ashton and Addy fell asleep 20 minutes into the movie, Taylor and Miranda moved the them to their beds. Miranda took Oakley out one last time for the night, while Taylor quickly cleaned up the kitchen, and they locked the doors, and went upstairs, to cuddle, and fell asleep.
