5 years later-
Over the last 5 years, the Kinney family has experienced nothing but growth. Ashton is now 15 years old, a sophomore (grade 10) in high-school, he plays football, and recently got his driving permit. Addy is 12 years old, a 7th grader, a cheerleader, and plays softball. The twins, Abby and Alex are 6 years old, in the 1st grade, they currently don't have any sports or school activities.
Taylor and Miranda are still very active in acting, and being parents. They recently just built a 5 bedroom, 3 bath house, with a big fenced yard, and big 5 feet deep in-ground pool. Oakley, the German Shepard, is getting so big, and smart. She is so well trained, and fully trained in German.
The kids only have one more week till summer break, Taylor and Miranda were up bright and early cooking breakfast and getting things ready for the day. At 6:30, Taylor walked upstairs and started waking Ashton and Addy. "Ashton, time for school,bud." Taylor said, turning on his lights. "But dad, I don't feel good." Ashton said, he was known for playing sick, and not wanting to go to school. "Ashton Blake we aren't doing this again today, get up and ready for school." Taylor said, "you only have this week left." He said. "So let me stay home." Ashton said. "No, sir, get up and ready. I will come back in 5 minutes if you aren't up, then I'm getting cold ice water and dumping it on you." Taylor said. "Alright,alright." Ashton said, and Taylor walked to Addy's room to wake her up, but she was already awake. "Good morning, princess." Taylor said. "Good morning, dad." Addy said, in a sleepy voice. "Down for breakfast in 15 minutes." Taylor said. "Yes, sir." Addy said, brushing her hair. Taylor walked downstairs, and shortly after Addy was downstairs sitting at the kitchen table.
(2) She made herself a plate, and started eating. Taylor walked back upstairs to Ashton's room. "Are you up?" Taylor asked, knocking them opening his door. "Yes I'm up, I'm up." Ashton lied, still laying in his bed. "Get ready for school, son." Taylor said, firmly. "Yes, sir." Ashton said, rolling out of his bed. Taylor walked back downstairs, and joined Addy at the kitchen table.
Miranda was upstairs in Abby's room helping her dressed for school. "Mommy, are we almost on summer break?" Abby asked. "Yes, ma'am, you have today and tomorrow, your siblings have five days." Miranda said. "Okay, then we have no more school?" Abby asked. "That's right, not till the fall, baby." Miranda said. "Okay, then we will be in 2 grade?" Abby asked. "Yes, ma'am second grade." Miranda said. "Okay." Abby said. "Go downstairs, and have breakfast." Miranda said, Abby nodded, and went downstairs. Miranda went to Alex's room and helped him get ready. Taylor made Abby a plate of food, "what would you like, princess?" Taylor asked. "Bacon." Abby said. "What else?" Taylor asked. "Just bacon." Abby said.
(3) Taylor laughed, "you have to eat something other then bacon, princess." He said. Abby sighed, "Fine, pancake." Abby said. "Thank you." Taylor said, and she nodded. Alex and Miranda walked downstairs, and she gave him some food. "Ashton come on!" Miranda said, loudly. "I'm coming!" Ashton said, and walked downstairs. They all had breakfast, Taylor and Miranda loaded the kids into the Mercedes. They dropped Ashton off at the high-school, "Have a good day, son." Miranda said. "Yeah, thanks." Ashton said, getting out. "I love you, son." Miranda said. "Mom! Stop! You're embarrassing me." Ashton said. "All I said was ' I love you' geez." Miranda said. "Yeah, that's embarrassing." Ashton said, walking away. They drove to the middle school, and dropped Addy off. "Bye, princess, we love you." Taylor said. "Bye, dad, mom, I love you too." Addy said, getting out, and walking inside.
(4) They drove to the Elementary school, and parked. Taylor and Miranda got out, and helped the twins out, and walked them inside. The twins have different classrooms so they can each make their own friends without each other, and learn to be away from each other. They dropped them off at each of their classrooms, "Bye, we love you, we will see you later." Miranda said, kissing their heads. "Bye mommy, daddy." Alex said, and walked into his class and started playing with his friends. "Bye bye, mommy, daddy." Abby said, giving them hugs and walking away.
Taylor and Miranda went to the set of 'Chicago Fire' and started working.
