y/n turned, walking to leave, not really caring to listen to miya's lectures.
"hey! wait!"
she turned to reki, who had shouted for her.
"you never told us your name!"
"oh! right, y/n l/n, but y/n is fine."
"ah, alright."
she continued walking as miya caught up to her, still trying to get the girl to listen to him.
"are you listening to me?!?"
"hm? no."
they had already gotten out of s, now on their way back to the girls apartment.
"y/n!"
the girl stopped walking, turning to the boy. his voice had sounded firm, almost upset. the green eyed boy in front of her grabbed her shoulders, a concerned look on his face.
"you have to back out. you could, no, WILL get seriously hurt! adam is a dangerous skater!"
she frowned, placing one of her hands on top of his.
"miya, i'm not dropping out! i'd look like a total coward! besides, i'll be okay. it's not like he could kill me, you know?"
miya just stared at the girl.
"y/n?"
this time, his voice was soft.
"hm?"
"you.. you meant it right?"
"'meant what?"
"that.. you meant that you wouldn't leave me."
the girl seemed a bit taken aback by the question, but smiled none the less.
"yes, i meant it."
"... promise?"
he removed his hands from her shoulders, putting his pinkie in front of her. the girl just stared.
breaking promises. some people argued that promises were meant to be broken, while others hated breaking them. unfortunately, y/n was the latter.
dying would be considered leaving him, right?
she didn't want to make the promise if she couldn't keep it.
she hesitated, before taking his pinkie in her own, raising her other hand to show that her fingers weren't crossed.
"yeah... yeah i promise."
(this chapter is short 💁♀️ i try to make all my chapters over 1000, but this ones like- 300. my apologies. ANYWAYS wow character development or something 🙆♀️ look at y/n making an indirect promise not to kill herself <33 how sweet)
