"that's fine."
the blue haired boy seemed rather quick to agree, but reki on the other hand, jumped on top of him when he did.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S FINE? WHY ARE YOU REPLYING WITHOUT ASKING ME?!"
miya seemed angry at the sudden act, while you just moved out of the way, where the rest of the crowd was standing.
finally, the race started, and the both took off. miya was in the lead
suddenly, a bright pink car began honking as it drove behind the two.
you heard someone yell "come on!" before something grabbed your arm.
andddd now your in a scary clown mans car.
lovely.
"WHY ARE YOU HOPPING ON WITHOUT ASKING?!?"
you raised your hands, trying to signify your innocence in the whole situation.
"follow them."
"THIS ISN'T A TAXI! BOTH OF YOU, OUT!"
they continued arguing as you awkwardly sat in the back seat, still confused as to what was happening.
"you!"
you looked up, noticing that reki was looking at you through the mirror.
"oh- uh, reki, right?"
"yeah, you're miya's friend, right."
"um, i think he prefers the term classmates?"
reki just nodded before looking back ahead. you weren't too interested in the race, so instead you just tried to find something interesting on line, not really caring about the dialogue that was going on between reki and the clown man. the car ride was bumpy, but it didn't bother you too much. later on, you noticed a lighting change. looking up, you realized you weren't outside anymore, but in some sort of building.
the car stopped, and the two older males in front got out, so you followed along. miya was ahead, but paused when his opponent had jumped onto some broken rails.
"stop! those rails are severed, you'll fall."
the older boy maneuvered his board, making it act as a bridge to get across the rails, miya immediately went too, you assumed he was trying to catch up.
you couldn't really tell who won, but the crowd apparently could.
miya had lost, he seemed upset. well, anyone would be upset to loose, but he was younger than his opponent, though apparently the bluenette had been rookie.
"langa!"
you turned as reki ran towards the boy.
so THAT'S his name. i mean, finally someone said it.
you walked over to miya, not really sure what to say. instead, you just gently patted him on the back, though he didn't react.
you heard reki cheering for langa, and his board.
"i can't believe i lost."
you heard miya, so you figured you'd have say something.
"i thought you did really well!"
"like you'd know.."
in all fairness, he had a point.
"i can tell you why you lost."
you and miya both turned towards the older boy.
"skating is something you have fun doing."
that comment just seemed to make miya angrier.
