In-yeop heaved a sigh to calm himself. He is irritated right now but he has no right to be mad since he is talking to their boss. "Where do I bring the girl?"

"Today is In-yeop's birthday?" Soomi panicked when Yumi informed her that today is the birthday of the man who makes her heart flutter. After what happened last night, she started to be cautious of her actions whenever he is around. In-yeop doesn't seem bothered about the kiss they shared. He is still the same. He still acts the same. However, the kiss means a lot to Soomi.
Today is laundry day and they are now hanging the clothes they just washed on the rope tied around two trees far from each other. In-yeop and Chorong are practicing combat moves in the garage.
"Why are you so surprised?" Yumi chuckled at her reaction as she placed a clothespin on the shirt she just hanged. "We usually don't celebrate it, though. In-yeop doesn't want his birthday to be treated as a special day."
"Why? But it is a special day," Soomi asked, still holding onto one of In-yeop's shirts she's supposed to hang.
"But we can just celebrate with a simple dinner. Birthdays should not always be celebrated extravagantly," Soomi insisted which made Yumi stop from what she's doing and turned to her. She placed the shirt she's supposed to hang back in the basket, placed her hands on her waist, and gave Soomi a suspicious look.
"What?" Soomi asked as she started to feel conscious of Yumi's stare.
"Where have you been last night?" Yumi suddenly asked which immediately made Soomi's face flushed.
"I-- I was feeling stuffy all of a sudden... T-then I felt that it was hot last night. Was it hot last night? Y-Yeah, it was hot. So I-- I decided to get some fresh air," Soomi blabbered and continued to stutter. "N-nothing happened. Really!"
Yumi stared at her suspiciously, not buying her excuses. She then laughed at how flustered Soomi looks right now. Soomi then continued hanging In-yeop's shirt which she's been holding since earlier, giving Yumi side glances.
"Don't worry, I won't meddle with your business," Yumi said and continued hanging the clothes. "It was not hot last night, though," she said and winked at Soomi. Soomi did not say anything anymore because she is afraid she might say something which she might regret. Both of them continued hanging the clothes with Yumi still chuckling.
"So, what do you plan to do for his birthday?" Yumi asked. Soomi wondered what she could do to make this day special for In-yeop. For Soomi, hearing that In-yeop doesn't want his birthday to be celebrated sounds like the guy is just not used to feel the warmth coming from the people who care for him during his special day.
"I have an idea," Soomi said and whispered something to Yumi. Yumi smiled upon hearing Soomi's plans.
"That's a nice idea," Yumi said. "I'm in."
After hanging the clothes, Soomi and Yumi went to the garage to check on the boys and to bring them bottles of cold water. They are still practicing their combat skills with In-yeop having nothing but his pants. His shirt is discarded on the floor, giving Soomi's eyes easy access to his toned abdomen. His sweat glimmer on his body and a lot of sweat is rolling on his face coming from his head which also made his hair damp.
"You boys aren't done yet?" Yumi asked as she crossed her arms over her chest. She's already used to see the boys in this state.
"Yeah, boss. Aren't we done yet?" Chorong asked as he pants too much from exhaustion. He is being pinned by In-yeop on the floor as the latter tries to teach the fat guy new moves.
Upon seeing Soomi, In-yeop lets go of Chorong and stood up. He grabbed his shirt from the floor, tossed it over his shoulder, and walked towards Soomi who is holding the bottles of water. He grabbed one from her hands and opened its lid. He drank from the bottle with his eyes fixated on the girl who is awkwardly standing in front of him. He gave the empty bottle back to Soomi and wore his shirt, walking back inside the house nonchalantly after.
"Whooo! That was hot," Yumi blurted out and wiggled her eyebrows at Soomi. Soomi doesn't know where to look as her face blushed so hard after what happened.
"Can I get my drink now?" Chorong said which made Soomi look at the poor guy who is sitting on the garage floor. Yumi laughed after realizing they forgot about the poor guy. She grabbed the bottle of water from Soomi's hand and tossed it over to Chorong.
"Thanks," he said sarcastically and drank all the water from the bottle.
They heard the sound of the shower coming from the bathroom when they went back inside the house. Soomi decided to change her clothes into simple pants and a shirt she borrowed from Yumi in preparation for the plan she shared with the girl. When In-yeop got out of his room wearing his usual get-up, black pants, and white shirt, Yumi immediately blocked her way with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Our fridge and food storage are already out of stock," she said which made In-yeop's eyebrows mush together.
"So?" He asked. "What does it have to do with me?" He walked past the girl and sat on the couch beside Soomi. He scooted closer to Soomi, liking the warmth he feels from the girl.
"We need you to buy stock for all of us. The food left is only enough to stuff our faces for one week," Yumi complained as she sat on the armrest of the couch where the two are sitting.
In-yeop fished for his wallet from his back pocket and grabbed his card from it. He tossed the card to Yumi. "Go buy, then." He simply said and grabbed for the remote control of the television. Before he could turn it on, Yumi was quick to snatch the remote from him.
"I still have a lot of cleaning to do," Yumi pretended she's irritated at how In-yeop is acting. She tossed the card back to In-yeop. "Besides, pretty girl here needs to see a new environment. Go and visit the marketplace."
In-yeop looked at Soomi. When Soomi felt that In-yeop is staring at her, she also looked at him and gave him a small smile. In-yeop sighed and stood up.
"I'll just get my jacket and keys," he said and walked to his room. As soon as the door of In-yeop's room closed, Yumi raised her hand to give Soomi a high five which the latter accepted in excitement.
"Let's go," In-yeop said as he walked to the door. Soomi followed her, feeling giddy as she wishes her plans will come true.
"Grab some sausage for me," Chorong said as he got out of the shower. "Fill one cart with a lot of sausages and ice cream."
"Go buy it yourself," In-yeop said and walked out of the door.
"Yah!" Chorong pouted which made Yumi and Soomi chuckle.
"I'll make sure to grab some," Soomi told Chorong which brightened up the fat guy. With a smile on Soomi's face, she went out of the house and her smile widens upon seeing In-yeop waiting for her in his motorcycle.
