In-yeop heaved a sigh to calm himself. He is irritated right now but he has no right to be mad since he is talking to their boss. "Where do I bring the girl?"
"Oh, no no no! You are not bringing the girl anywhere," the man said and smirked. "I want...

With her hands under her head, lying down sideways, Soomi stared at In-yeop who is sleeping next to her. He is facing her as he sleeps peacefully. She's thinking of everything In-yeop said earlier about his parents. He looked like a kid who suddenly experienced the loss of the people he truly loves. He looks tough on the outside but he is an innocent kid on the inside.
In-yeop's eyebrows suddenly mushed and Soomi instantly knew that he is dreaming again. She brought her finger on his forehead, touching the crease with her forefinger. His face relaxed upon the contact and that made Soomi smile. She then carefully placed her hand on his cheek, gently rubbing her thumb on it.
In-yeop opened his eyes and saw Soomi staring at him. When he noticed the hand on his cheek, he grabbed the hand and kissed it. "Why don't you sleep?" He asked.
"I need to go back to the room," she whispered, not taking her eyes away from him.
In-yeop doesn't like the idea of her going back to the room she and Yumi are sharing. He likes to feel her warmth as he sleeps. "It's more comfortable here," he tried to persuade her.
Soomi chuckled and moved closer to In-yeop, burying her face in the crook of his neck. "Five minutes. Let's stay like this for five minutes," she said as she wrapped her arm around his torso. In-yeop did the same, wrapping his arms around her body, kissing her hair, and leaving his lips on it.
"I like it," Soomi whispered. "I like it when you tell me some of your dark pasts. I wish you could tell me more. I like to know you better."
In-yeop pulled away a little from their embrace and looked at her. Soomi looked at the guy and saw him giving her a serious expression.
"I'll listen to your problems, In-yeop. I'll try my best to help you get out of worry," she smiled at him. What Soomi said made In-yeop's heart flutter. He's falling for the girl more and more each day and it scares him. It scares him to think that this will all pass and just thinking about it breaks his heart.
In-yeop remained silent and just stared at the girl. He wishes he could be this close to the girl all the time. Not caring about the world, not caring whether they are being chased or if they will be found and killed by their enemies one day.
He carefully tucked strands of hair behind her ear and cupped her cheek. Slowly, he leaned down and gave Soomi a chaste kiss on her lips. He felt the girl smile under his kisses. When they are both satisfied, they separated from their kisses and smiled at each other.
"You should smile often. You look cute when you smile," Soomi said and In-yeop instantly turned his smile into his signature deadpan expression. Incorporating the word cute in In-yeop's name gives the guy the chills. Soomi chuckled at how In-yeop reacted with what she said.
"It's almost morning. I need to go back to the room," Soomi said and In-yeop did not protest any more. They both let go of each other and Soomi sat up at the edge of the bed. She looked In-yeop over her shoulder and laced her hand with his.
"See you tomorrow," she whispered and smiled.
"Tomorrow," he replied. Soomi walked to the door and In-yeop remained to stare at it even though Soomi already left.
The next morning, Chorong woke up as the aroma of something cooking filled his nose. With his head throbbing from how drunk he was last night, he groggily walked to the kitchen and got himself a glass of water.
"What are you cooking?" Chorong asked Soomi who is stirring the bean sprout soup which she thought would be perfect for everybody's hangover. "Where's Yumi?"
"I'm cooking us hangover soup. Can you taste if the seasoning is just right?" Soomi answered him and brought a spoon with some soup in it to Chorong. Chorong tasted the soup, smacking his lips to better critic the taste.
"It needs a little more salt," he commented and sat on the dining table. Soomi smiled and did what Chorong suggested.
"Yumi is still asleep. Both of you were so drunk last night," Soomi answered his other question and chuckled upon remembering their argument last night.
"Look who's talking. You were so drunk last night, too, that you thought In-yeop's room was your room," he snorted. Soomi stiffened at what he said. There is no way he saw her coming in and out of his room. He was snoring too loud last night.
"What are you talking about? I was in Yumi's room the whole night," Soomi let out a nervous chuckle and continued moving around the kitchen. "I think you were dreaming."
Chorong looked up at the ceiling as he tries to recall what he saw last night. "Was I?" He asked himself and just shrugged the thought away. Soomi sighed in relief.
"Is that already cooked?" He asked.
"Almost," Soomi answered. Yumi then got out of her room while massaging her temple. She groaned as she felt the pain in her head caused by too much drinking.
"My head freaking hurts!" Yumi complained. Soomi got a glass and filled it with warm water and squeezed some lemon in it.
"Here," Soomi handed Yumi the glass. "That will help you with your headache." She went back to the stove and turned it off.
"Thank you for preparing our breakfast for today," Yumi said after finishing the glass of lemon water. "You woke up early. Weren't you drunk last night as well?"
"Not as drunk as both of you were," Soomi chuckled as she started placing everything she cooked on the table. Chorong turned on the television while still sitting at the dining table. He changed the channel to the morning news, hoping he will hear some good news.
"A female news reporter has been reported missing after her colleagues visited her house and found out that no one was home. The reporter's name is Kwon Soomi, a reporter from JTBSVN broadcasting station." All their heads turned to the television after hearing the headline of the news. Soomi's head went numb and her hair on her nape raised when she heard her name and saw her picture being flashed on the screen.
"Authorities have launched a major search operation and found blood stains from an abandoned building far away from the reporter's home. The blood matched the Ms. Kwon's." In-yeop got out of his room and when he saw that everybody's attention was on the television, he turned to it and his eyes turned to slits upon seeing the news.
"Not a trace of anything which could belong to the reporter except for a knife which has the reporter's blood." A picture of a knife that Soomi and In-yeop are familiar with is now being shown on the screen. "Her colleagues are now helping out in search of the woman in hopes that she is still alive. If you ever have seen Ms. Kwon, please report it to these numbers immediately."
That part of the news ended as numbers to call regarding her whereabouts flashed on the screen. In-yeop turned the television off and looked Soomi. The girl is still perplexed at the news about her which made her knees weak. She sat on one of the chairs on the dining table and stared at nothing.
