Niall is having a conversation with his cousin Liam on the phone.

NIALL: “Why aren’t you talking?”

LIAM: “Wait. I’m walking to a more silent place.”

NIALL: “There’s nothing to discuss. I already expressed my point.”

LIAM: “But.”

NIALL: “But nothing. You can’t date Louis. It’s final.”

LIAM: (amused) “Well, this is funny, to say the least.”

NIALL: “Why is it funny?”

LIAM: “I knew you’d do something like this but, now that it’s actually happening, I’m confused.”

NIALL: “What are you confused about?”

LIAM: “Why don’t you want me to date him?”

NIALL: “So you do want to date him. I knew it! This is so typical of you.”

LIAM: “I was going to call you today but then I couldn’t do it.”

NIALL: “Call me for what?”

LIAM: “To ask for your permission.”

NIALL: “Denied.”

LIAM: “I’m not saying I want to date him. I just want to get to know him a little more.”

NIALL: “Why?”

LIAM: “What do you mean why? Because he is nice and funny and I like him.”

NIALL: “You can’t like him.”

LIAM: “And because he is hot.”

NIALL: “That’s exactly it! I forbid it. You can’t talk or see him ever again.”

LIAM: “You don’t get to decided that.”

NIALL: “I asked you to help him so yes, I get to decide that. He is…”

LIAM: “He is what?”

NIALL: “Nothing. You can’t go out with him.”

LIAM: “Yours? That’s what you were going to say?”

LIAM: “So Louis is yours. When did you buy him and where can I get one of those?”
