'What am I forgetting?'

This question kept plaguing my mind. Sans and I are organizing through the pantry. We're figuring out how long our food supply will last.

Sans writes something in his small book, showing it to me, "Something wrong?"

I laugh, "It's nothing. I can't believe how much pasta you guys-" At that moment, I gasped.

'OH GEEZ-'

I remembered. I turn to Sans in a split second, "Sans, your brother! Where does he work?!"

Sans' pupils shrink, he forgot about Papyrus just like me. "That bar and grill downtown, I think."

I hurriedly rush out of the kitchen, grabbing my shoes off the floor. "Y/N wait!" Sans screams but it sounds rough. I turn to see him coughing and grabbing at his neck. After a couple seconds, Sans is able to get it under control.

'He shouldn't be talking loudly. Those scars give him a limit.'

He's panicked that I'm leaving. I tell him, "I'm going to get him. You need to stay here! If anyone sees you crossing over the border, you'll be arrested again!"

'....... Y/N, you just said 'again'....... CRAP-'

Sans is stunned, he definitely noticed my slip of the tongue. I hold my hand against my forehead, saying as quickly as possible, "Sans, I promise I'll explain later but you need to STAY HERE." Before he could stop me, I rushed out of the door.

(~Small Time Skip~)

I'm hiding in between the gap of two houses. The official border is swarmed by crowds. Authorities are escorting groups of monsters over the border, while monsters on this side are screaming furiously at them. Construction has already started of building a fence to separate the two sections.

'I can't be seen.'

My eyes scan the crowds. I let out a sigh of relief when I spotted Papyrus. I can tell he's scared, this isn't exactly a friendly situation to be stuck in. He doesn't look hurt.

I call his phone, in which he answers, "Miss Y/N! Everyone is-" "Yes I know. Look to your left, in between the two nearest houses." I interrupt him.

He spotted me seconds later and I wave for him to come here. Pap runs over to me, grabbing tightly onto his scarf. As soon as I could, I tightly hugged him, "Are you okay? You weren't hurt?" Papyrus hugs back, worried more about Sans than himself, "How is my brother?!"

"He's back home waiting for you. Get there and wait for me, okay?" "What about you? Where are you going?" Papyrus asks.

"I need to get something. Go home, make sure your brother has his phone with him in case something happens. I need him to meet me somewhere in 30 minutes. Can you tell him that for me?" I try to smile, helping him relax a bit.

'Papyrus is so hopeful, it only takes one thing to bounce his confidence.'

Papyrus smiles, "Yes! The Great Papyrus is on it!" I laugh, "Okay, tell him that but then tell him this. 'We'll meet behind the place we met. Approach from the left side.' Got it?"

Papyrus nods, "Meet in 30 minutes. Place you guys met, left side!" I give him one more hug, "Stay safe."

I let him run off and turn back to the main problem, getting past all those people. There's a spot off to the side that only a few guys are guarding.
