Pain.
That's what you felt the second you woke up. Your eyes fluttered open, and you saw Joshua standing in front of you. He had a wide grin, and he was holding something red. As you looked at your body you saw why the object was red.
It was covered in your blood. You looked back at the object in his hand and saw it was, in fact, a scalpel. He had been cutting you while you were knocked out. He also moved you. You don't know if you're still in that warehouse but if you are you aren't in the same room anymore.
"Good morning, sweetheart. How did you sleep?" Joshua asked as he moved behind you.
You didn't answer him, you didn't want to answer him. He walked back in front of you holding a kitchen knife this time. It was clean so you assumed he hadn't used it on you yet. Key word being yet.
"I asked you a question sweetheart. When I ask you something I expect you to answer me." he plunged the knife into your thigh and you let out a loud scream. It hurt like hell. He pulled it out after a couple of seconds and did the same to your other thigh.
You were breathing heavily. Your chest rising and falling fast as you tried and failed to compose yourself. You would allow yourself to scream, talk back, anything but, you wouldn't let yourself cry. If you cried, he would win.
"I can tell you're fighting sweetheart. That's cute. You think you're stronger than you are. By tonight I'm going to have you crying so much, you'll be crying because you can't stop crying. Just like old times."
Spencer's POV:
Garcia's been looking through the list of names Y/N left for the last hour and she still hasn't found anything. How hard could it be to put names into a computer and see where they are?
I shouldn't be complaining though. I've been less productive. I've been sitting at her desk looking at her things. Trying to see if she left any other clues. We had to call her parents. They should be here in about thirty minutes, forty-five if traffic is bad.
This is the first time any of us are meeting her parents. She doesn't really talk about her family. I know she has an older brother. He's only older by a couple of months. They're in the same grade which sounds fun but she told me that it does until you have the same class as them and you've been fighting all day.

"Where is she? Please tell me it's not real! She's my baby please! Where is Y/N?" I hear a male voice say.
Without looking up I can tell it's her dad. I see Rossi go up and talk to them so I stay where I am, her desk. I can't seem to get up. It's like I'm glued to the seat. As I look at the desk I don't realize that Y/N's parents and Rossi were making their way to the desk.
"Why are you at her desk?" her father asks bitterly. "I'm looking to see if she has left anything. She left us a note in her apartment, I was thinking maybe she left something on her desk." I say back just as bitterly.
Rossi and her mother look between the two of us. I look at Y/N's mother and decide to introduce myself. "Hello Mrs. Y/L/N, I'm Doctor Spencer Reid. I'm one of Y/N's coworkers. I can assure you that we are doing everything in our power to bring Y/N home." I shake her hand and she gives me a strange look.
"You're Doctor Reid?" she asks curiously. Why did she ask like that? Did Y/N tell her mother about our thing? I didn't tell my mother why in the world would she tell hers?
"Yes. I um- I'm Doctor Reid. Is there a problem?"
"No! No problem. I just don't see why she doesn't like you. She sends pictures of you guys. The whole team, always tells us funny stories about them but never about you. You seem very determined to help her. Maybe she should be nicer to you. She can be a bit cold. Lord knows where she got it from. Maybe that father of hers." Rossi leads them into the briefing room and I stay there with my eyebrows furrowed.
Why would she say something like that? 'Maybe that father of hers.' Her father was standing right there, why would she- oh, Oh, Oh!
Her father! Garcia. I have to go to Garcia. Right now! Two days. It took me two days to figure it out. Of course it would be her biological father. Who else could it be? I beeline for Penelope's office and when I get there I see Hotch with her.
"Garcia I need you to tell me if there's a name on that list." I say quickly.
"Shoot boy wonder."
"Joshua Bancroft."
"Um. No, there is no Joshua Bancroft on the list. Why?"
"Why wouldn't she put his name? It doesn't make sense. If I was her the first person I would suspect would be him. Unless she forgot about him. She hadn't been having nightmares recently so he wasn't on her mind," Hotch and Garcia had stopped what they were doing and were watching me ramble now, "But still, how could she forget. Garcia, look into him. Everyone on that list isn't important. I'm one hundred percent sure that no one on that list is responsible for this. Joshua is."
"And how would you know that Reid? Who is this Joshua guy?" Hotch asked sternly.
"Joshua is her father. I need you to trust me on this. If you don't look into him he might kill her. Don't question it. Just do it."
With that Garcia went to work. Let's hope I'm right because if I'm just being paranoid and he doesn't have her I could be wasting time. But I'm not. I can feel it. She's coming home. She's going to be fine. She'll be back with her family, with the team. She'll be home. And that's all that matters.
