"She's crashing!"

That's the last thing you heard before darkness overtook you.

Now, you were in a field. You don't know how you got here, because last time you were awake you were in an ambulance in nothing but your underwear. Now you're wearing a long dress with your hair down and no marks on your body from what he had done to you.

"Hello?" you yell out hoping that someone was there.

There was no response. It was so quiet that the loudest thing was your breathing. "Hello?" you say once again.

You have heard stories about stuff like this. People saying that when they died after an incident that they saw stuff. Some saw a field like you, others saw family members, and others saw nothing. Did that mean you were dead? That you are dead. Is this what it'll be like from now on? Will you be alone in this field for who knows how long because you died?

You didn't even get to say goodbye to your family. Your mom, dad, your brother, Emily, Aaron, Dave, Derek, JJ, Penelope, or Spencer.

Spencer. He would probably blame himself for this if you were dead. You don't know him well but, you know him well enough to know he'll think this is his fault. He'll probably think something like 'I could have saved her', 'I could have picked her up.' He did it with Emily. He always found a way to blame himself.

You were just hoping for the best. You went through all of that with him and made it out to die in a hospital. I think not. That's the stupidest thing you've ever heard. If you could make it in that hell hole you can sure as hell make it in a hospital when they were helping you instead of making you worse.

You also weren't going to give him the satisfaction of winning. You had given up when you thought the BAU hadn't found you but then they burst through the door and you knew everything was going to be ok.

All of a sudden there was a blinding white flash and after a couple of seconds you heard voices.

"She's awake!" whoever said that sounded extremely worried. Shouldn't they be happy you're awake? After being gone for however long shouldn't they be jumping up and down in joy and saying how much they love you and how sorry they are or something? Who knew the team could be so horrible at welcoming someone back.

Then there was someone right in front of you; they were in a mask and had something on their head with plastic glasses on. You soon realized that you shouldn't be awake because a mask was put on your mouth and nose and the person said "You shouldn't be awake. Countdown from ten to one. Okay?"

You didn't respond, only closed your eyes. And for what felt like the millionth time you were overcome by complete silence and darkness. Feeling, seeing, and hearing nothing.

Spencer's POV:

She blacked out in the ambulance but she was doing fine. Her heart was still beating, not much but enough to keep her alive. When we got to the hospital I followed the nurses as far as I could. Before the doors could close in my face I heard one of them yell, "She's crashing!" and it was nerve wracking.

I sat in a chair in the waiting room and waited. After about ten minutes the rest of the team came rushing into the waiting room.

"How is she? Do you know anything yet?" Hotch asked.

I shook my head in response. They all sighed and took seats on chairs close to mine.

"Joshua's dead." JJ says softly.

"Good. He deserves it." I say.

I can feel their eyes on me. I don't know why. Is not like I said I wished he was alive. He did something horrible to our teammate and I'm glad he's not alive anymore. Would I have liked to see him get sent back to prison, maybe given a death sentence, yes but, that didn't happen and this was okay too.
