The Agreement

Josephine POV

Hero and I go to sit at the foot of my bed.We sit there in silence me wrapped around in his strong arms conferring me.We don't know exactly were to begin with this whole situation we're in right now.One thing is certain tho we have to confront our parents.

"Do you think your ready to talk love?" Hero says his voice still hoarse from all of the crying he did, well more like the crying we both did.

I nod my head against his chest and I untangle myself from his embrace.I look up into those brilliant green eyes and see so many emotions in them concern, sadness, anger, guilt, and confusion. I coup his face in my hands and wipe his tears with the corner of my thumb.He does the same wiping my tears with his thumb.We stare at each other both of our eyes bloodshot.

I take a deep breathe "What are we going to do?" I ask looking up into those brilliant green orbs.

He sighs running his fingers through his hair "I don't know love.We both know one thing and that is we can't married." he says staring me his gaze is so intense and I can see he is just as confused as I am.

I sigh I know he's right I am in no position to get married I'm so young and want to live many things and also be successful career wise before I even think about marriage.I know that I want to take over Langford Enterprises before I get married.  "I know we can't but knowing our parents there going to get there way no matter what." I look up at him and see understanding in those green eyes.

"I know that's we have to come up with something, something to convince them to show them that this would never work." he says frustrated.

"We can't act like we hate each other that didn't work." he chuckles.

I smile and look up at him "Yeah that was a really shitty move." I laugh with him.

Then suddenly the perfect idea comes to mind well maybe not perfect but it has to work.He staring down at me curiosity on his perfect face "What do you have mind?" he chuckles looking at me already knowing I have something in mind.

"What if we make our parents think there getting our way." I say like a little kid conducting some evil plan.

He looks at me amusement dancing in his eyes "I'm listening." he says trying to hold his laughter at the way I said it.

"What if make our parents think we are in love and that we going through with the wedding we can push it back because we said we want to plan our own wedding and choose a date ourselves and not them.Then that will buy us some time." I say using my business voice.

I look up at him and see him thinking this through "Okay I think we should do it just to buy us sometime." he says although he doesn't sound totally convinced we really have no option.

"Okay but we also have to have some rules." I say.He looks at me his eyebrows furrowed. "Okay." He says.

"One we can't be kissing and doing other things because that is only going to make the situation worse.Two we have to not just fake it to our parents but to the world the only people who can know are our friends like Annika, Melanie, Matt, and Anthony.Three when we're alone we can be ourselves like the best friends we use to be." I say making sure he heard every word clearly.
