Hero POV

"Hero!" I hear Jo practically into my ear. I groan and cover my ear burying my face into the pillow inhaling Jo's coconut scent that stuck to the pillow. I feel Jo grab my arm that is covering my ear and push it down. She's a small little thing but she's so fucking strong.

"Hero we overslept and we have to get ready for the wedding and help the bride and groom ready and make sure everything is—" I cut off her rambling and stand up and caress her hand. "Love. Calm down everything will be fine." I chuckle and kiss her cheek.

She sighs and lays her head on my chest "I'm sorry. I just want everything to be perfect because Matt and Mel deserve it." She mumbles against my chest.

I stroke her hair and kiss the top of her head "If you want I can help you make sure everything is in order and you help Mel get ready. Plus Matt won't need my help that wanker gets ready in like five fucking minutes." I chuckle and she giggles against my skin and I smile even more.

She lifts her hand from my chest and her blonde hair a mess "Okay let's get ready and then I'll help Mel get ready and you can make sure everything is in order god knows Mel is probably going all bridezilla on Annika right now." She giggles even more.

I don't know what it is but there's a certain glow to Jo. She's always glowing and stunning but her eyes were always sad and empty but lately, her eyes have seen so bright and filled with life just like before.

**

"Hero please make sure that there are exactly six seats at each table and also make sure that the colors are red and white no other color also make sure that the guests are seated at the beach and also—"

"Jo love please calm down if I can run a billion-dollar company I sure as hell can handle a wedding," I reassure her for the thousandth time.

She sighs and looks breathtaking. The windows coming through the sunlight in the living are giving her a glow to her cheeks that is more prominent than ever. She is wearing an Azazie Everleigh desert rose dress. Her hair is curled, the right piece of her hair is pinned back with a hair clip. Her pink eyeshadow brings out her blue-grey eyes, even more, mascara, eyeliner, and pink lipstick make her look even more alluring.

She is simply the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.

"Hero!" Jo snaps her fingers in front of my face. I look at her and see she has a deep scowl set on her face.

"Josephine Langford if you don't get your ass upstairs in the next thirty minutes I'll drag you up there myself," I tell her and grit my teeth together to look intimidated and I glare at her.

She looks shocked by my sudden outburst but I swear for a minuscule second I see her a small hint of black but she shakes her head and runs up the stairs.

Everything is almost ready for the wedding. I go over to the beach and make sure that all the chairs are in place and everything is ready to go for the ceremony. I look and see that there are six chairs and twenty rows just the way it was supposed to be. I chuckle about how Jo gets so worked up about this. I mean they hired people to help for a reason and there was no way they were going to mess this up.

I take one last look at the aisle and make sure all the chairs are in place. I quickly look over my shoulder and see that the Langford's backyard is all set up; dozens of tables are lined up with black and white sheets on top of them. The pool platforms are in the middle and ready to go. I look and see that everything is ready. I decide to go give Matt a visit. He was there for me on my special day and decided that I should do the same. I go up the stairs and go to the room that is right in front of what was supposed to be my room.
