Hero POV

I wake up to the sound of thunder booming outside my window. I groan into my pillow at the annoying repetitive sound. I try to go back to sleep but the thunder just keeps booming throughout the entire house and it makes everything shake. I open my eyes and see the booming thunder outside my window. The noise may be very annoying but the way it looks is beautiful.

Not being able to go back to sleep I decide to check my phone. I sit up against my headboard sighing. I check my phone and see it's three in the morning groaning in annoyance at my lack of sleep. I answer a few text messages that I had from my mates knowing that those fuckers are wide awake at this time.

Just as I'm about to my phone away I get a text message from her. Josephine Langford. She's down to earth the best person I have met in my entirety of sixteen years. She has an amazing personality not only that it's also unique. I have never met anybody like her before. She's also so funny that when I'm with her there's never a dull moment.

From Josephine: Why are you up Faulkner? You should be sleeping, young man!

To Josephine: Because I can and want to Koala.

From Josephine: We'll your wrong you have school tomorrow and should be sound asleep!

To Josephine: Wrong smart ass I got out of school today. If anybody is going to get into trouble it's you for using your phone at school.

From Josephine: You're wrong once again Faulkner I got out of school last week!

To Josephine: So that means you're coming soon. Right?

From Josephine: Yeah I'm coming to London tomorrow!

To Josephine: Cool can't wait to see you!

From Josephine: Ok I'm going back to bed see you tomorrow Koala!

To Josephine: See you tomorrow Faulkner!

With that our conversation ends and I put my phone on the nightstand. The whole time we were text messaging I couldn't help but laugh and smile like an idiot. I love talking to her it makes me feel relaxed and not have this ongoing pressure on myself that I have always felt. With that, I drift off to sleep thinking about the blond Australian girl.

"Hero!" I hear my mum's voice yelling at me from downstairs. "Coming!" I yell back at her as I finish spraying on my colon. I don't know where the sudden urge to get dressed up and spray my fancy colon came from but I felt like I needed to look my best. I woke up this morning in agony and felt nervous because Jo was coming and I immediately thought that I needed to wear something nice.

I spent the entire morning deciding what I was going to wear which is very unlike me. I ended up deciding on a white polo shirt, black jeans, and my Air Force 1's. I gelled my hair and parted it to one side. There's one loose strand of my hair that I can never control so I just leave it there hanging loosely on my forehead.

Grabbing my phone and slid on my Apple Watch. I run downstairs as fast as I can. Knowing that we're late. The Langford's plane should arrive in about thirty minutes and the airport is kind of far away from the manor. When I reach the bottom of the stairs mum has this frustrated look plastered all over her face.
