Jungkook walked into room 2 and sat opposite the man cuffed to the table between them. The man raised his eyebrows and looked calmly at Jungkook, he appeared to look more fed up than anything. His black hair scraped back into a ponytail, the tattoo of a blue star under his right eye, the scar on his left cheek, his lips dry. He gave the impression of an aged man whose skin would feel like leather if you touched it. He was someone who had lived a life of of a person double his age and every bit of it showed.

"Good morning, my name is Officer Jeon. You are?"

"None of your business." his baritone voice, slithered past his lips and across the table.

"Okay Sir. Can you tell me why you were assaulting that man last night?"

"I could, but I won't be telling you anything because, that also, is none of your business."

"I think you will find that protecting citizens comes under my job description so it is very much, my business. What did he do wrong? Didn't give you the blow job you paid for?" Jungkook wanted to ascertain that this man wasn't just a disgruntled customer.

"You are boring me, Officer. Have you got any proper questions? Or are you just going to release me because you and I both know the man hasn't pressed charges and you have no right to detain me."

There was a knock at the door and Jimin appeared "Excuse me Officer Jeon, but you are free to go Sir." he undid the mans cuffs and followed him out, leaving Jungkook sat at the table. He hadn't achieved anything and the man's cockiness sat in his gut like a rotting apple.

"Hey Kook, Joon wants to see us." Jimin said, arriving back to the office.

Jungkook took a deep breath, he knew what Sergeant Kim was going to say, he'd seen the lawyer with Blue "Come on then. You know it's going to be the usual shit right?"

Jimin nodded and sighed as they knocked on Sergeant Kim's office door "Enter" came the voice from the other side, calm and steady with a touch of force.

The Officers walked in and Namjoon gestured for them to sit down. His office was one of the smallest in the building and everyone questioned why he hadn't chosen a larger one when they'd rearranged the upper floors. Namjoon always stated that he was a simple man who like simple things and he didn't have the need for a grand office or tons of furnishings that no one used and were only there to make someone feel better about their well furnished office. Some used their working space as a symbol of their job role, like the leather sofa in one corner, was a pat on the back for being successful, however, that wasn't the type of man he was... he liked his cosy office.

"Whose big idea was it?" his face was serious as he questioned the two officers sitting the other side of his desk.

The officers looked at each other and back at their Sergeant.

"Which idea are we talking about?" Jimin asked.

"You mean there's more? I've just had a stuck up lawyer quiz me over why his client was detained overnight when charges weren't pressed!"

"Oh, that. Well, you see..." Jimin stopped, Namjoon looked at Jungkook who didn't say a word.

"You know we can't touch Blue. We have had him in here so many times and we don't even have his real name."

"But Joon! Come on! We know he's as dodgy as fuck"

"First of all, Officer Jeon, it is Sergeant while we are here and secondly, yes he is 'as dodgy as fuck' but we have nothing on him."

Both Officers sighed, they knew Namjoon was speaking the truth and it was frustrating. The conversation at the very least confirmed that indeed it was 'the' Blue, which set Jungkook's mind whirring, wondering why he was treating the stripper that way. He wanted to know what Vante had done to warrant such aggressive treatment and he suspected he probably wouldn't like the answer. He thought about Vante's identity and the possible reasons it was so well protected, maybe it had something to do with Blue? maybe he was easily disposed of, if no one knew his real name? Maybe he was related to Blue? Maybe Jungkook was so caught up in finding out who Vante really is, that he was overthinking the whole thing? Maybe, Vante just didn't want it to be common knowledge.
