DESPITE SLYTHERIN MYTHS, THE Snake Bite Rebellion was truly an organization. And they were meeting on the Hogwarts Express at that very moment. You could tell they were part of the Rebellion if they had a ring with the letters SBR and a Snake in the background. Those with pendants were the leaders or higher authorities of the Snake Bite Rebellion.

The members of the Rebellion included most children from the Sacred Twenty-Eight, along with a bunch of other Purebloods, mainly from Slytherin.

Their leaders and founders, the most unlikely quartet, consisted of Maddilyn Snape, Regulus Black, Lucius Malfoy and Milla Parkinson, all of them were incoming sixth years, plus Silver Gray and Leo Reese added onto the original four as trusted and highly respected members.

"Everyone here?" Maddie asked, her voice commanding respect. The apartment's noise ceased as the group looked to the front.

"Good," Milla said, giving the students a light smile. "Today we're discussing the topic of Dark Marks."

"Who here has one?" Regulus asked.

A few "I do"s could be heard in from the crowd.

"Step forward," Lucius ordered. There were four people who stepped forward, including Garth Goyle, Austin Avery, Theodore Nott and Chase Ramirez.

"You are one of the most important parts of this Rebellion," Maddie said. "You are our people on the inside. The spies of the rebellion."

"I also have the Mark, and you will follow my lead with the Dark Lord," Lucius said. "He won't find out about the Rebellion."

"If you betray us, we will feed you to the wolves," Silver threatened, her smile wide, showing the whites of her teeth. "I'll see to it personally."

"She will," Leo confirmed, making the Rebellion members look at Silver with scared expressions.

"Many of us will be forced to get the Dark Mark," Milla said. "Do not fight it. We must build our knowledge. There's nothing more powerful than the knowledge of your enemies."

"And of course," Maddie started saying. "Be aware of the Snake Bite," the rest of them said in unison.

"I HAVE DECIDED, I will try to get the Mark," Maddie said to her fellow Rebellion leaders Lucius Malfoy, Regulus Black and Milla Parkinson.

"No way!" the three purebloods protested in unison.

"You don't know what you're getting yourself into," Regulus said. "I am to get my Mark soon. Lucius has already gotten it, and Milla is being forced to marry a Death Eater. We have been vetted by birth to serve the Dark Lord, you only know of the politics."

"It will help us," Maddie insisted. "You can never have too much help on the inside."

"Once you get it, you will never be able to go back," Milla said, her voice grave. "Like Reg said, we've been trained for this kind of thing, and we know how to navigate pureblood society."

"I will need all three of you to support me on this," Maddie said. "It will be the only way for me to have even a slight chance of becoming a Death Eater."

"You can't," Lucius said, warning underlying his tone. "The Dark Mark and the things the Dark Lord makes you do, it will tear your soul apart."

"If we are to have even a chance in this war, I must do this," Maddie said. "I will tear the Dark Lord's army apart, and divide them. And we will win this war."

"Please, Maddie, reconsider," Regulus said, his voice pleading. Maddie wasn't like them, she wasn't forced to follow the Dark Lord. She had a life she could follow, one the Dark Lord couldn't interfere with. He doubted He didn't even know Maddie besides knowing Maddie was Severus Snape's sister.
