"WHAT ARE YOU DOING here?" said Maddilyn Snape, her lip curling in disgust.
"The better question is why is the Prefect of Slytherin in detention," Sirius Black drawled back.
Maddie rolled her eyes. "I think you know why," Maddie said. At his clueless expression, Maddie gaped at the boy. "You didn't hear? I socked Golden-Boy Potter in the face."
Sirius sat up. "You fucking did what?" Sirius asked.
"I punched Pretty-Boy Potter in the face," Maddie said, smirking.
"Do you always have nicknames for everybody?" Sirius asked.
"Yes," Maddie smirked.
"What's mine?" Sirius asked.
"Idiot," Maddie replied.
Sirius glared at the onyx-haired girl, and was about to retort when Professor McGonagall briskly walked in.
"You two are going to clean the trophy room without wands," Professor McGonagall commanded.
"Are you kidding me? How dirty can it get when you give everybody detentions to clean it?" Maddie asked exasperatedly.
Sirius laughed. This girl obviously had many detentions, yet she was somehow made Slytherin Prefect. Well, he supposed it was her or a bunch of suck up Purebloods.
"It's true, Minnie," Sirius said agreeably to the Head of Gryffindor. "Everytime I go there, it's spotless."
"You will clean it," was all the stern professor said to the two. "You'll find what you need there."
Maddie sighed. "Fine," Maddie relented.
SIRIUS BLACK KEPT ON stealing little glances at Maddilyn Snape. He hoped the Slytherin didn't notice him. Maddie didn't.
"Well, the trophy room is pretty spotless, besides you being in it," Maddie said, throwing her cleaning supplies down.
Sirius scowled.
"See you around, Black. Have a dream with rainbows for me," Maddie said, stalking out of the trophy room.
"Snape, have you gone insane?" Sirius called after the Slytherin girl. His only response was a tap-tap of shoes echoing in the nearly empty halls.
"UM, SIRIUS, YOU KNOW you have-" Remus Lupin started to say.
"Yes, I do, and I can't get it off!" Sirius Black said exasperated.
"Why the hell does your face have a rainbow on your face?" James Potter said, the lad had gotten released just that morning after Maddilyn Snape had punched him. Madam Pomfrey had done an excellent job of healing the scar to show no sign of the event happening.
"My guess is something to do with Maddie Snape," Sirius said, throwing a glare in the gemeral direction of the Slytherin table.
Peter Pettigrew came down, about to say something about the rainbow on Sirius's face, but was silenced with a glare by Sirius.
"Where is that snake?" James asked, in fury. The four looked around, but only found Severus Snape, reading his potions book, and Leo Reese and Silver Gray arguing as usual. Where exactly was Maddie Snape?
At that moment, Maddie burst into the Great Hall, looking around. She rushed over to her older brother, and whispered something into his ear. Severus stood up, a wild look in his eyes. The Snape siblings rushed out of the Great Hall. The four Marauders got up, determined to find out what was up.
