REMUS LUPIN HONESTLY WANTED to bang his head against the table in annoyance. Studying for NEWTs was pure torture and he had Lily Evans and Maddilyn Snape studying with him as well. The three top students in the seventh year and some of the smartest students in the castle. Remus supposed they didn't have to study, seeing as it wasn't even close to NEWT week, but the three liked to be prepared in advance.
Maddie seemed to have the same thought of banging her head on the table as a loud thud echoed in the library.
Lily glanced at her friend concernedly.
Maddie cursed in many different languages, vehemently and unapologetic. It reminded Remus why he had liked the onyx haired girl. For being able to be herself and not give a damn about whatever others thought. Remus never could be himself. He was a monster. He could never be is true self.
Little did he know, Maddie Snape was very similar to a previous Slytherin student named Tom Riddle. Maddie was the devil in angel's wings, and she had long since fallen from the ranks of the angels.
But the one thing that separated her from Tom Riddle was the fact that Maddie was the perfect opposite of the great Michael, prince of Light. Maddie was the balance, and Tom Riddle was the destroyer of that balance.
ELODIE OLLIVANDER STOOD IN front of the Slytherin Common Rooms, tapping her foot impatiently.
"Badger, do you have business here?" a blonde haired boy asked, looking around Elodie's age.
"One, my name is not 'Badger', and two, I'm looking for Severus Snape," Elodie snapped irritably.
"I'm Malfoy. Lucius Malfoy, (well... it runs in the family i guess lol)" the blonde haired boy said.
"Elodie Ollivander," Elodie replied shortly.
"Oh! Maddie told me about you," Lucius said, seeming surprised that Maddie had chosen a Hufflepuff out of all people to trust with their mission. "One of the infiltrators."
"Be aware of the Snake Bite, even though badgers are immune to a snake's poison," Elodie said, smirking slightly.
Lucius gave Elodie a slight smile back. "I'll get Snape for you, hold on a second," Lucius said, dissapearing into the Common Rooms.
Lucius reappeared, dragging a scowling Severus Snape behind him.
"Wouldn't want to keep the nice lady waiting, Snape," Lucius said, flashing his SBR pendant to Elodie, and sauntered away.
"BYE LILS, BYE REMUS," said the familiar voice of Maddilyn Snape. "Same time tomorrow?"
"See you then," the cheerful voice of Lily Evans responded.
Sirius Black was waiting for Maddie to exit the library.
"Hey, Maddie," Sirius said, startling the raven haired girl.
"Sirius," Maddie replied shortly. "Is it urgent?"
"I was wondering, would you like to accompany me for the first Hogsmeade visit?" Sirius asked.
Maddie turned her head, smirking slightly. "Are you asking me on a date, Sirius Black?" she asked.
"Y-yes?" Sirius said uncertainly. "I mean only if you want to. You really don't have to. I was onl-"
Maddie grinned. "Sure," Maddie said, cutting off the taller boy's rambling.
"Wait... what?" Sirius asked.
"I'll go out with you," Maddie said, walking away, leaving one Sirius Black staring there in shock.
