It was already quite late, and despite being tired a minute earlier, Mary rapidly packed her tiny brown suitcase with seemingly endless enthusiasm. Her coffee-brown eyes shimmered once again with the hope of drinking her favourite beverage once more.

Mary knew she didn't have time to waste. She packed two sets of clean clothes and her trusty CoffeeTop. She glanced at the rustic nightstand for a second, before opening the drawer and taking a tiny wooden box with a gild carved coffee bean into its lid. Mary sat down in her bed and gently opened the box as waves of memories flooded her worries, forming her lips into a tender smile. A chip of beige speckled broken china sat inside. Mary found her mind wondering back to coffee-scented afternoons, but quickly stopped herself. She wrapped the box into her coffee dyed handkerchief and placed it in her suitcase before closing it, taking a deep breath, and walking out.

Mary promised herself she wouldn't ever come back— not until she saved coffee.

Hello 👋. If you have any ideas of what Mary could do in her adventure through the world please comment them, and maybe I can include them in the story! I know my friend NaomiElla_bunny already gave me some really cool ideas, so thanks!
