Mary woke up the next day realising she had slept on her armchair with her CoffeeTop still on her lap. Her alarm had probably been ringing for a long time. This was weird, because Mary never slept through her alarm. She got up—her eyes still a bit foggy from her sleep— and started making coffee. She would have definitely been late for work, but as she was still 'sick', that wasn't something to worry about. She still felt guilty about lying to Edna, though.
As she drank her coffee, Mary realised that this problem wouldn't resolve itself. This wasn't something that could be solved just by speaking to the manager (like she did when the CoffeeCamp co. delivery guy was late on the coffee bean deliveries). She would have to solve this herself. She would have to take action.
As soon as Mary finished her coffee, she got up and went to her wardrobe. A change of clothes always cheered her up. It was mid Autumn, Mary's favourite season. Mary put on ginger woollen tights, a light brown coffee fruit patterned dress, and a terra brown crocheted cardigan. She put down her shoulder-length hair, and she was ready.
