Mary went to her basement. She knew she would need to start rationing the coffee she had left, until she could get her regular deliveries again. She had 11 60kilogram bags. Just enough for a month.

She took the mini coffee-bags she had sewn. They had "coffee" embroidered on them, and were made from scrap fabric. She separated each day's worth of coffee beans. Mary knew she would need to drink at least 2 or 3 less cups of coffee than she normally did, if she would survive this horrible pandemic.

Once she separated an even amount of coffee in each bag, Mary went upstairs, grabbed her purse, and went outside. She lived in an area with many coffee shops and cafes and restaurants. Surely at least one of them would have coffee beans. She knew she had to be quick, what if someone got to a cafe before her and got the last cup of coffee?

Mary opened her map. Big red lines marked the fastest route to all the potential-coffee-selling shops. She hopped onto her co-bean bike (an electric bike powered by used coffee beans), and she was ready to go.

Hello, sorry I haven't updated in ages. I promise I will actually finish this story... I have a lot of fun writing it. 🙂😉
