ISAIAH'S POV.
I keep glancing at the phone as James scribbles down the names on text book, I sigh and take a drink from my coffee . " I miss Dean so much" Frode grumbles. I start tapping away on the desk when the phone rings. Quicky I reach for it and answer quickly "hello. Dean?"
"Um no, sorry to break your heart but it is I"
"Luna Kai? " I ask with a sigh ,sitting back down in my seat.
"Hurtful!" He laughs before continuing "Isaiah I need to tell you something important. I think you'll be glad to hear this."
"Yes?" I lean forward. Please say my mate is coming back .
"Well first of all, is that James guy there ?"
James looks up when he hears his name. "yes" I answer.
"Can you put me on speaker ". Kai asks. I raise a brow but do it anyways as I set the phone down and switch it to speaker .
"You're on"
"Hey James! Luna Kai here. Would you happened to know this beauty with long black hair."
He jumps up dropping his pen to the floor "Charlotte!Is it Charlotte?!"
It's stays quiet and you can here the phone being moved around "James?"
" Charlotte!" His eyes began to water "baby its really you."
"Yes James. They saved me. They took me away from there."
"Oh Charlotte thank the moon goddess." He rubs his faces as tears fall . Joy spreading through his face.
"But James, when will you come for me?"
"We need to wait baby. We can't let them know we have you, you're safe in that pack .. when we get rid of the blue crescent pack I'll come for you."
"So soon" she says .
"What?" I ask . The other line stays quiet for a while before she answers
"oh I mean I hope it's soon."she emphasizes at hope
"We will try baby. I... can I ?" He looks at me
"Yes we will need to make some arrangements. I'm not sure about today tho".
"Tomorrow? Please." I nod to him
"Oh thank you alpha, thank you so much"
"Is Arrio there" I ask Kai.
"Not at the moment but I'll have him call you when he gets back. Well I better go. Bye Alpha!" Then he hangs up.
"That was weird" Frode says. Yes it was indeed weird .
I look at James . "Alright James let's finish this up so we can move forward . I call beta Nadine hand over the text book. "Get copies of this and give them to our main guys . . Im about to walk out of the office when the phone rings.
I look back it . Something gives me a chill begore I reach for it "alpha Isaiah speaking."
"Isaiah" my name comes out his mouth with such anger. " you better get your ass here"
"And why should I do that?" I snarl back
A laugh is heard "because your pretty boyfriend was stupid enough to show up alone . Hurry before he gets his head chopped off" he hangs up leaving me there .
"Do you think he's telling the truth" it could be a trap but kai was acting weird.
"Charlotte said soon" james whispers.
