Dean's POV

I open a window and take a whiff "is there a way to hide the busses smell?" I ask Kai .

"We can wash away the smell "Kai answers mith a sinister smile ."I've been practicing a lot but I still don't know what exactly are my limits". He then closes his eyes and starts mumbling to himself. As he does this ,the sun gets covered by a grey cloud . Jake puts on his headlights as he glances at Kai. It's getting darker as Kai continues and Dana tries to distract the omegas from seeing him.

We pass by a familiar tree. Good we're almost home. As I think this, rain begins to fall , sprinkling a soft melody on the bus. I look behind and see nothing but darkness. How far can Kai reach with this and why is it so dark with little rain. I'm about to ask when suddenly thunder ruptures sounding as a whip on the ground. I jump from the sudden sound , holding onto Kai. Flashes of lighting soon join thunder as if thunder had been calling it out for a dance. The rain begins to dance to its own beat. I look at Kai who now has his eyes opened staring up ahead.

"Isn't it beautiful" he says softly . His  pupils have widen and only a thin blue light is seen around them . I've never seen his eyes like this. "I can do way more than this" he whispers.  The sound of the rain roars louder , until it becomes deafening.  He continues talking but I can no longer hear him. I look behind him and notice Dana . She keeps looking back at Kai with fear. I look over at Jake who has the girl curled up in his lap shaking like a leaf. Jake's knuckles are turning white from how tightly he holds the steering wheel. I face the front and see nothing . The rain pours on the window allowing no light to come in.

Quickly I grab Kai's shoulders, "Kai that's too much!" I shout shaking him . However he keeps staring ahead as if he can't hear. "Kai!" I shout again. I look behind and see nothing . It's getting darker way darker . "Kai it's getting dangerous " I mindlink hoping I can get through to him but still nothing . "Dean we need to wake him up fast" I'm trying! I keep shaking him , much harder now 'can you reach Loki" I ask Remus . "He can't get back in control' shit shit shit. We need Arrio , idk how to wake him up , I can't hit him.., well.. no! I can't hit him. Think think . I've seen him like this before . How the hell did we fix it?

The bus jolts as like it had hit something on the side. Kai holds his head and that's when it hits me . I grab his wrist tightly and stand in front of him "I'm sorry ... but this needs to stop .....Kai Ahpuch Laymond!" He flinches and tries to get out of my hold "Ahpuch!" I say again . His eyes go back to normal as he glares at me . "Please Kai. We can't see." He looks around, his eyes widening as he nods slowly . I let go of him and back away as his eyes glow again but this time there's gold. His wolf is in charge . The roars soon become like whispers. The whipping sound of thunder now sounds like a child's clap. The sun has come out again and the sky begins to clear up.

Kai sighs as he falls into my arms "I'm sorry" he says softly as he shakes in my arms.

"Are you ok. He nods as he continues to lean into me . I look back to the front and the roads are visible again. "We're safe and that's all that matters." We continue down the road before I stop Jake " we'll get off here" I signal Syan and Chance. They nod and follow me off the bus. Jake closes the doors and drives off. I hear some steps  and turn to see one of our warriors.

"This path is clear" he says I nod and we began walking pass him . No one knows exactly where our hide out is and we rather keep it that way.

"Alpha." Syan calls out causing my face to heat up "how long do you think we will need to hide."

"I'm not too sure. I think Isaiah wanted to until they get rid of all their rats. I think the least would be a year if I'm being honest"

"Can we get visits?" Syan asks.

"You just barely saw him , missing him so soon." Chance teases, nudging me with a wink .

"I was talking about my sister!" Syan shouts stomping ahead of us .

I chuckle "it's ok to miss him too" I chuckle "but for the moment no. I'm sorry you just got to see your sister for a bit" I walk up to him and pat his back "by the way , you are going the wrong way" He blushes and lets me guide him. We continue till we get to our tree. "There it is, your new home for awhile ." I climb up first as Chance follows then Syan .

"Wow it's pretty nice here" chance smiles as he checks around. "It's like a man cave."

Syan smiles as well "we're safe now and that's the most important thing" he jumps onto the bean bag and hugs it "I'm just happy my sister is safe."

"I'm just happy we didn't get killed" chance mumbles as he puts on the PlayStation "honestly I don't mind living here for the rest of my life."

"It's a pretty nice hangout , I'm happy we could use it for something important, never would've thought" I shrug "but we filled the fridge up and Dana will be in charge of your needs. Also we will be sending some medicine . Just to heal you guys faster." I say my buds and head back down.

"One thing down" Remus says . "And more to come " I jog up to the pack house.

As i pull up I notice my brothers . Dana's mother. Arrio , his parents and a few warriors waiting with boxes of supplies we give to refugees. I run up to my brothers, when suddenly I realized that I hadn't seen my dad yet. I look around and wait as everyone begins to get off the bus. It was so crowded that I couldn't even check.

Frank gets off with two babies in his arms, then finally my dad as he helps a pregnant girl off the bus. Once she's down, she thanks him and takes another girls hand. My dad looks to me and stares. I guess he didn't know what to say and that's probably why he didn't call out to me. I feel a bit of a push and realize that it had been Mia who had just joined us. I smile and begin to walk up to my dad.

He avoids eye contact as he say "uhh hey son" I chuckle as I pull him into a hug. He begins to laugh and hugs me back "I'm sorry for not accepting right away."

"It's ok dad . I understand it must've been hard when you wanted a girl for me." I say pulling away and smiling at him.

He looks at me with a frown "it wasn't that your mate was a male Dean. It was that your mate was that alphas son."

"What?" I ask confused.

"As beta we get to see other packs and get too see the alpha in their own environment." I nod knowing that yes as beta , we travel more than the alphas. "I've been to that pack when I had started out as Beta and I know they would've never accepted you."

"Yeah they weren't too happy about me." I shrug . Not much I can do I guess."who cares, we can just send them to the stakes" I chuckle at Remus.

"Hopefully that'll change soon enough. Once we get our new members settled. We'll head into the conference room."Arrio says as Kai has his face hidden in his shirt. I laugh when I see this . "Ha don't be jealous " Arrio huffs , holding Kai close.

I notice a girl with black long hair standing by herself. The kids keep glancing at her and whispering things . "Hey Kai" I whisper getting closer. "Who's that girl ?" I ask before covering my mouth . I try to hold back a laugh as I watch Kai struggle to get out of Arrios shirt.

Once he gets out he begins to look around "who , where " he asks rubbing his eyes "Ahh I can't see damn it!"

Arrio and I laugh as I look for her "oh she went inside already."  I open my mouth to say more when my dad puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Are we ready Luna?" Dad looks at Kai as he squeezes my shoulder .. Kai nods and pulls Arrio with him.

"Come my dear parents "Kai says talking to Dana's and Arrios parents.

We head inside to the conference room and take our seats at the table 'should we contact Isaiah first?' 'We can soon . Let's see what this is about'

"So I explained it to Arrio as we were getting here and he agrees with the rest of us." Kai takes Arrios hand and smiles.

"We're going to take over the Blue Crescent pack." Arrio tells us. What!? Arrio looks at me "it's the best decision we'll make to start with our movement.  Also for your pack." I haven't even been named Alpha but they are treating it as it's already my pack.

"When?"
