Valeria
After we had eaten dinner, me and Vinnie sat on the couch next to my sister and her boyfriend just chatting for a while before Willow and her parents came over.
I was the first to answer the door, hugging Willow's mother before greeting her father.
"Oh is this the handsome boy I've been seeing all over social media." Willow's mom says, walking into our living room. Willow rolls her eyes before saying, "Eh, he's not all that. He doesn't need you to big up his ego anymore mother."
A smirk plays onto his face as he goes to shake Willow's mother's hand, but she pulls him into a big hug.
Vinnie's face is facing us, so we see the cocky smirk playing on his lips as he hugs Willow's mother. Willow scoffs before she pulls the two apart, pushing Vinnie into me. "You better watch it." I playfully warn, to which he raises his hand in a surrender mode.
"Ma! We are going on a walk. Time to let the old people mingle." Willow says to both my mother and her's. They both nod their heads before me, Vinnie and Willow head out the apartment.
"Where are we going?" He ask us.
Me and Willow both look at each other before she smiles.
"This is the only day of the year that Valeria agrees to drink with me. Sooo, we are going to sit in my car in the garage and down a few smirnoff ices'." Willow cheers.
"We are not going to down anything. I'm going to have two - three sips max and I'm not drinking anything else." I say, correcting her. "I thought you don't drink?" He ask, cocking his head to the side. "I don't drink in L.A because I have no one to really control me if I go overboard. When I'm in New York I only ever drink either around my parents or with with Willow during thanksgiving, which is today." I shrug.
"Two to three sips? That's literally nothing?!" Willow whines.
The elevator dings once we get to the garage and I'm the first to walk out. "You're annoying. And plus I have to go back upstairs to my parents before leaving. I cant be plastered." I laugh out turning towards Willow's car.
Me and Willow got into he front seat of the car, while Vinnie sat in the back. Willow looked behind her and grabbed a case of the chilled drinks. "A pack of six? Do you plan on drinking these all?" I laugh, grasping the drink from her hand.
"Well I have to now, you won't drink more than one. Vinnie might drink two if he's feeling spicy." Willow laughs, handing Vinnie the drink.
I roll my eyes, grabbing my car keys as I pop open up both mine and Willow's drinks.
I go to help Vinnie but he pops his open with his back teeth. "You're going to hurt yourself doing that." I state, taking a drink out of the bottle. Vinnie shrugs, as he takes a swig from the bottle, leaning back in his seat.
"What do y'all think is going to happen with us all within the next 5-6 years..." Willow suddenly ask once the car grew quiet.
I took a deep breath, looking out the window. I just shook my head not really knowing how to answer. I thought about this constantly, think I thought I knew where I'd be but I was slowly realizing that I didn't know.
"I just want to still be happy. With the love of my life, maybe living together? I don't know." Vinnie speaks up.
I turn my head to look back at him, a soft smile growing on my face. He smiles back, holding my hand. "Y'all are so cute.... it disgust me." Willow fake cries, making me and Vinnie laugh.
"What the fuck." I laugh out.
"I just want what y'all have. You're so happy together."
"It took us a while to get here, and you know that better than anyone else." I tell her. "Yeah, but me and Nick are two different people. I like him, he likes me but he's just..."
