It's crazy to think that the year went by as quick as it did.
It felt like just yesterday, I was telling my parents I'll never leave their house, and that I plan on living in New York forever. But in a year I managed to completely do a 360 and change everything.
I wouldn't say this year was an easy one, obviously not with the way I went through heartbreak, but I found my happiness and that means a lot more than anyone could know. I experienced a lot, I've grown more as an individual...
I can finally say that I'm truly happy with where I'm at. Did it take a while? Of course it did.
For the past 2 years I've been trying to find this happiness, but it never came. But once I moved, and started being on my own it changed everything and now I'm learning.
I have the best support system ever, my friends are great, families great, the love of my life is great...
Everything is just fine.
I know it won't always be like this, I would have to be wishing on a shooting star for that to work, but I'm content with where I'm at.
That's all I could ask for.
"What are you wearing to the party tonight. I'm thinking black and lacey, but I'm also thinking tight and sparkly. What do you think?" Willow ask, walking into my room.
I look up from my vanity mirror, looking at the options that she had in her hand. Neither of them I thought fit the occasion but I remembered the other day we had went shopping and she bought this cute pink corset kind of top.
"How about you wear that pink corset thing you got when we went shopping? I think it'll go more or you can also wear that mini red dress you got but it kind of looks like a sleeping gown... I don't know, but either of those are better than that sparkle dress." I tell her, going back to fixing my eyebrow.
"Hey! That sparkly dress is my baby." She defends
"Yeah, and it's also very ugly."
I look into the mirror and watch as Willow mumbled a few words under her breath before heading out the door. "You're rude!" She yells, closing the door behind her.
I let out a laugh, yelling out "Drama Queen!" To follow.

30 minutes had pasted and I was finally dressed fully. I wanted to wear something more comfortable because I knew the night would be long so I wore some regular black dress pants along with a black cropped shirt.
I wore a gold waist chain and a black leather jacket with white fur. The jacket was more for style than anything so I didn't plan on wearing it for the whole night, just for photos and that would be all.
"Are you ready? Nick is driving us to take pictures before we actually go to the party?" Willow ask me, coming into my room.
"Yeah, I'm done." I say turning around to face her.
She was wearing the outfit I suggested earlier and she honestly looked so beautiful.
"Oh but the sparkly dress would've looked better right?" I mock, making her roll her eyes.
"I look good in anything I wear." She mumbled. "You do. But the sparkles babe... the sparkles were killing me." I laugh. Willow shook her head as we finalized our fits and headed out the house.
When we got downstairs we were met with Nick sitting in the front seat of his car waiting for us.
We hopped in the car, Willow sitting shotgun while I say in the back of the car, texting Vinnie that we'd left the house.
