Dear Diary,
I had to get up so early this morning to go to Red Deer. I was so tired, I did not want to get out of bed.
On the way to Red Deer all I did was read the new book I got, called Wizard Heir. It's the second book to the Warrior Heir trilogy.
When we got to Red Deer, the first thing we did, was go to one of my cousins basketball game. It was just grade 8 ball, so it wasn't that interesting.
After the game finished, we went swimming. Then after that we went to another basketball game.
As soon as the game was over, we drove straight to my cousins house and ate pizza and shawarma. I didn't try the shawarma, and I kind of regret it.
After eating food, it was late so most of the little kids went to bed. All the kids from ages 14 and up, stayed up and played card games.
While we were playing games, Syd was texting me. He finally got his iPod back! Usually when he's texting me, he'll only give me on word answers, or he just jokes around and isn't serious at all. But today it was different. He told me how grateful he is of everything I do and everything I've ever gotten him.
After that Mike and I got into a big argument about him wanting me to tell him who liked him, but I didn't want to lose this girls trust. He was not in a very good mood, so he wouldn't stop nagging me!
Other then that, this Valentine's was a lot of fun! Syd got his iPod back and texted me for some of the day, I connected with my cousins, and I had a pretty fun day!
Good night Diary,
~ Joy
