Dear Diary,
Today was my last day of school. I had to get up early for a morning side at the temple street chapel. The guy talked about the second coming. It was a pretty good talk, even though I was half asleep.
As soon as the morning side finished, Brooke and I had to run to the school and set up for band. We had to play for the first fifteen minutes of class. Mae came to watch, and then after joined us for our band party. It wasn't much of a party. All we did was watch music videos.
For the rest of school all we did was play games and watch movies.
After school, Mike, Mae and I got invited to go over to a friend of ours named, Patrick. He lives out of town so we had to catch his bus. Mae wasn't there in time to catch the bus, so we ended up driving back into town to pick her up.
When we got back to Patrick's house, we played pool, The Game of LIFE, and then we had a nerf gun war. During The Game of LIFE, Patrick's little sister came and sat on my lap, (this was the first time I had ever met her,) and she asked me to do her hair. I did end up doing her hair into a fishtail braid. I did pretty good for my first time.
When I went to stand up after the game was over, my knee killed and I almost fell over from the pain. I have weird knees, so if I sit on the ground for too long they start to hurt.
It took a couple minutes for them to go back to normal, but then we had the nerf war. I hurt my wrist, my hip, and Mike boob shot me twice with a sword. It really hurt. During all this my mom texted me so I went to text her back, and I was standing behind a door. Mike hit the door not knowing it was open, and it slammed into me. The doorknob hit my hurt hip, and the door hit my head.
I swear I can't go anywhere anymore, without hurting myself! It's mostly just minor stuff, but it still sucks!
I got home at 5, and I started watching a new episode of The Voice. I was watching in a pitch black room, and before I knew it I was waking up to a beeping noise.
I looked over at my iPod and Syd had texted me. I looked at the time and it was now 7:20 I had fallen asleep for about an hour and a half from the last time I checked the clock.
I went up stairs to eat, and then I headed over to Brooke's to hang with her family and Mae's family.
We watched Garfield and then played "What If?" I love playing that game. It's when you write down a what if question, and then trade with someone and answer the question. Then one person reads the question, and the person to their left reads there answer. Most of the time it's really funny.
Syd was texting while we were playing what if, and I asked him for a what if question. He said, "What if you and me were watching a movie and there was a romantic part and I leaned over and kissed you?"
I sat there as my heart tried to jump out of my throat. And then he texted me this. "I think your pretty, and I like you. But we are too young, so nothing will happen. But, I will always hope in my heart, that one day, we will be together."
That's when I knew I wasn't texting Syd. He tried to convince it was, but I knew it wasn't. Five minutes later I got a text saying it was his older brother Jack that had texted me that. I totally called it.
I got home around 11:30 and then I stayed up and watched an episode of Unforgettable.
Good night Diary,
~ Joy
