Dear Diary,
This morning my family had to get up early to go to Lethbridge, because we were going to visit my grandma, and Will had cello lessons. I was going to study for my Social test next Friday, but I got distracted, and didn't end up studying. At my grandmas house we ate lunch, and I fell asleep on her couch.
After I woke up, it was already time to head home. On the way home I fell asleep again.
Once I got home, I quickly did my jobs, because Mike and I had plans to hang out at 5, and it was already 4. I barely finished in time. The thing is, is that Mike never came and picked me up. He had forgotten to pick me up after work, and he couldn't convince his dad to turn around and pick me up.
So I called all of my friends, in hope that one of them could hang out. All of them said that they were busy. About a half an hour after I gave up on calling not people, Mae called me back and invited me to go to Unbroken with her and her sister. I was so glad!! I said yes, and ran to grab my coat, because they were leaving in the next five minutes.
There is not one word on this earth that could describe that movie. The best thing to do is go and watch it for yourself. It was amazing, but very sad. I cried so many times, especially because I knew it was based on a true story. After the movie I was exhausted. It had taken me on an emotional roller coaster. I just couldn't understand how someone could live through all the things this guy had to live through.
I got home at around 9:30, but I was too tired to do anything else. So I got ready for bed, and watched only one episode of Glee.
Good night Diary,
~ Joy
