Dear Diary,
School today was really weird. Band was messed up, because I had to test people on their rhythm, and I felt really bad. Lots of them didn't do too well, but they were probably really nervous.
In Language we started to watch A Midsummer Nights Dream. I actually loved it and thought it was funny, but everyone else on the class was stone faced during the whole movie. None of them enjoyed it. Probably because it didn't make any sense to them.
After that we had seminary. In seminary, some of the kids in my class had to teach the rest of the class the lesson. It was super funny. These two boys taught us, and at the end they made us draw something to remind us not to take the lords name in vain. Mike and I had made plans to hang out, but we couldn't find someone else to come hang with us, and there was no way my mom was going to let just me go and hang with him. So all day we had been texting a lot of our friends to see if they could come and hang with us, but everyone had plans.
So after school we went down to his dad's office and kept trying to find people to come.
While we waited for a couple of people to text us back, we stopped by my dad's office to give him my stuff, and then stopped by DQ to grab lunch.
When we got back, we decided to call Patrick to see if he could come. I was so glad we did, because he ended up being able to come.
When we got to Mike's house, we had to help take down a whole bunch of their Christmas stuff. His little brother Billy would not stop bugging us. He kept following us around and trying to do everything that we were doing! I found out later, that he has a little crush on me.
After we finished taking down all the stuff, we went and ate supper. When we finished supper, we decided to play a friendly game of poker. We didn't actually bet on anything, but it was still a lot of fun.
At the end of the poker game Mike suggested that we go see his horses. I really wanted to see them, but the thing is, is that that I didn't realize how far we had to walk to go to see them. I would say that it was about 2 miles there, and 2 miles back. It was really far! About half way over to the horses, I needed to go to the washroom. I didn't think we had that much farther to go, so I decided to suck it up and keep going. By the time we got to the horses, I really had to go. I was kind of disappointed when we got to where the horses were suppose to be, because they were no where to be seen.
As we headed back, I got a little bit ahead of Patrick and Mike. Mike ran up to me and told me to wait, but I knew if I would have to wait, I'd definitely pee my pants. I just turned to Mike and told him I had to go to the bathroom, and kept going.
When I was about half a mile from his house, Mike's dad came and picked me up. It turns out Mike had texted his dad to come and get me. I was kind of embarrassed, but I was glad he came and picked me up.
After Mike and Patrick came back, we watched Remember The Titans. It was my first time watching, and I loved it!
When the movie finished we played 21, and cheat. The whole time all four of us, (including Billy,) were hyper and we kept make fun of each other.
I really like hanging with my girl friends, but I love sometimes just hanging with guys. Because there usually way less drama, and no gossiping.
Except hanging with Mae is great, because she barely ever gossips, and there's pretty much no drama. She's all I could ask for in a best friend. Brooke is a lot like that too.
I was thinking lately about how I don't actually have that many close friends. But the I realized I'd rather have 5 amazing close friends, then 20 "just there" friends.
At around 10:30, my dad came and picked me up. We gave Patrick a ride home.
After I got home, I watched an episode of Marvel's Agents of Shield, and then I went to sleep.
Good night Diary,
~ Joy
