Dear Diary,
For the last two days I hung out with Syd, Bug and Jen at their house. Yesterday I hung out with just mostly Syd. When I first got to his house, he was making stuff out of leather, so he made me a bracelet, and another bookmark. My dad lost my first bookmark from Syd when he moved my book out of our van.
Syd and I talked for a long time. It was actually a lot of fun. I learned a lot more about him. He actually once again proved to me that he still truly does like me. He told me that whenever he won't do something and his uncle's around, his uncle will say, "Would you do it if Joy was here?" I laughed, mostly because my family does that to me too!
After we ate dinner, we watched A Walk To Remember. I had been wanting to watch it for a long time!
Today I went over to his house too. When I first got there, Jen hadn't gone to work yet, so we went upstairs and watched a video about a meteorite hitting in Arizona, with Ellen and Bug. Right before Jen had to leave for work, we started to make cookies. After she left I made Syd help me finish making them! We ate probably half of the cookies dough. While we waited for them to cook, Bug went on my iPod and Syd went on his iPod. They played Minecraft together through online multiplayer. Syd kept making weird noises, but I thought that it was really cute. I just sat their for half an hour watching them play, but I never got bored once.
The last cookie that we made, was a gigantic one, and I kinda burnt it. So Syd ended up eating all of it. After that I washed the dishes, while I talked to Syd.
After dinner, Bug, Jace, Syd and I played a couple rounds of President. Then Jace had to leave, so we played Go Fish.
When Jen got back from work, we all went upstairs and started watching The Day After Tomorrow. It was super good, but I never got to finish it, because my dad came and picked me up half and hour before it was over.
So I have Festival in a couple of weeks, and I am not ready for it. I almost have all my songs memorized, but not quite yet. This year is the first year I've gone in it, and I'm really scared!
Good night Diary,
~ Joy
