Dear Diary,
This morning Lynne and I had to get up early to meet with the rest of our family in Lethbridge. We got up late, so we didn't end up eating breakfast.
When we got there, we went to the Holiday Inn to go swimming. The slides were closed, because there was too much ice. But it was still a lot of fun. Mark brought a date, and we all sat in the water and talked. It was so nice being able to sit and just talk to people. Mark's friend, Pam, is such a nice person. I love talking to her. She will actually sit and listen to me.
After swimming we headed back to Cardston.
When I got home I went on Pinterest for a couple of hours.
I then went over to Syd's house to hang with Brooke and Jen, while my parents went to an adult party. We just sat and talked for about an hour, and then we decided to watch a movie. Syd and a couple more of his cousins joined us for the movie. We watched The Hobbit, and everyone ended up having to leave halfway through, except for me. So it was just me, Syd and Jen for the last hour and a half of the movie. It was my first time seeing it, and I loved it! I had to leave right after, because my dad came right before it ended. As I walked out the door, I finally gave him a welcome home hug! It was about time, but it seemed a little awkward because I was wearing my big winter jacket.
Mike has been getting in my last nerve. He keeps asking why I hate him, and why I'm acting so weird around him. What he doesn't realize, is that he is the problem here, not me! He needs to get his act together, and stop dumping out all his anger, sadness and frustration out on me. He will never be able to take back what he said!
Good night Diary,
~ Joy
