Before I Wake

Your pov:

I woke up with a sudden jerk and a bright light in my face.

It took a couple seconds to adjust, and when I did I realized that I was in a hospital.

There was a doctor around my bed along with my childhood best friend, Chris.

Chris: "Y/n, your awake!" He hugged me.
You: "Wh-why am I here? Where is my girlfriend?!"
Doctor: "Y/n, you've been in a coma for almost a year."
You: "Your lying, I was just sleeping in my room next to my girlfriend and our dog."
Chris: "You don't have a girlfriend, the last person you had a 'thing' with was Lilly." I looked down at my wrists and I had tubes on it.
Doctor: "Who was your 'girlfriend'?"
You: "It was Anna, Anna Shumate."
Chris: "I'll call them, maybe you can tell the doctor more about it." Chris left the room and I looked at the doctor.
You: "I know I wasn't dreaming, she was right there in my arms."
Doctor: "Maybe your dreaming down." He grew a huge smile on his face and it kept growing.

Anna's pov:

It was the middle of the night when I felt y/n jerk up.

I opened my eyes and seen her sweating.

"Are you ok baby?" She looks over at me and attacks me with a hug. "I had a nightmare...it was about you a-and I woke up from a one year coma, and we weren't to-together.." y/n was shook up. I hugged her tighter. She pulled away from the hug and kissed me. "I love you baby, just try to go back to sleep ok?" She nodded her head and laid back down.

I put my hand on her stomach and drew shapes. Soon after she fell asleep again.

Your pov:

I remembered my dream from last night when I woke up.

Anna was still in my arms, and I didn't want to let go of her but I had to get ready for the day.

I put on a red Drew sweatshirt and some black Drew sweatpants.

After I got changed I went downstairs and seen Eva and Connor laying on the couch.

I sat across from them.

I went onto tiktok and I read some comments about my music. I recently just wrote a new song when Anna and I didn't see each other for a week because of Will.

I went back upstairs, quietly, and grabbed my guitar from my room.

I went outside and sat on the loungers, soon I went live on Instagram and the viewers started to come on.

"Hey guys, so I was seeing that you guys wanted me to sing one of my songs because my song, Homesick was recorded and sent out live, so here you go. These three songs I worked on in the span of a week when Anna and I were on a break." The comments were found by so fast but I read one that said, "Why did you go on a break?" I started to strum the strings on my guitar and I responded to the question by saying, "We went on the break because of me and I was overthinking, but anyways this first song is called One Man Band. I actually wrote this before we took a break, so here we go."

I started to play the melody, and sang.
